I’ll put Lexington in the next video , I think I’m gonna do a little load board look around the country on every money and News video coming up, so stay tuned
Not really, I actually make more money in the winter because most guys are afraid of the snow. Therefore, the rates go up if you’re running into areas that snow a lot like I do, know if you want to take refuge in the southern states to get out of that then yes the rates will, and always do drop in the winter but the work stays pretty surly believe it or not.

DAT, Truck stop, 123….. but call the agents in the area that you’re not finding loads first. Also see if our agent can get the load you see on the spot market, brokers are always your last option. Remember, only two out of 10 owner operators make it 2 years and right now that number is going down see how many of the five of you that made it are still around in six months…
Does the 8AM for receiver typically mean there isn't an appointment set yet? My last company just used 00:01. I noticed one load picked up by 3PM and delivers 8AM next day but was like 970 miles. They have teams?
No it’s just a default setting 99.9% of the time….the agent will go over pick up a delivery hrs and set appointments for you if they are needed or tell you the appointment time if there is one when you call on the load and YOU have to agree to it B4 you book the load
I know you do not run the NE much but do you happen to see any good loads that way ??? I’m looking for. Truck to sighn on with y’all !! Also I’m looking to go step deck what your recommendation on that or better to stay flatbed??
Oklahoma is not a great flatbed area, there’s always stuff going there but not much coming out so if you’re based out of Oklahoma, you’re gonna want to get out and stay out for a couple weeks trying, to return every weekend probably wouldn’t be a profitable business model
Our agents get the most they can from the customers, the more they get you the more they make because they’re paid 7% of the 25% you give up, they’re not brokers that are trying to steal from you. You can ask for more, but they have to go to the customer and see if they’ll pay more and most of the time that’s a no and or it’s already a contracted rate with that shipper
Lexington looking great this evening. It always does it’s right in the triangle within striking range of southern Ohio and Indianapolis. No worries getting in and out of there ever.
Texas is a bad place for a flatbed, plenty of loads, going there just hard to get out of Texas. There is some work if you don’t mind staying in the state of Texas though
@@Truccinwithlumberjacc I really can’t answer that, to many variables work ethic, what you haul, how often you go home etc…. Plus I seldom run Texas so I don’t have a good idea of rates there other than they’re much lower than the steel belt…
