Have been loving your videos! Such cosy watching, and I really like hearing *whispers * people just saying a book does not work for them. I'm such a fussy reader, I often wonder if my reading brain is just broken 😆 I read The Angel of the Crows by Katherine Addison earlier in the year - a Sherlock and Watson reimagining in a world of werewolves, vampires, angels etc - and LOVED it. It's a really well put together book by a clearly very confident and experienced author; it's both comfortingly familiar and novel in its treatment of NotSherlock and PseudoWatson. I went straight to The Goblin Emperor afterwards and was left absolutely cold by it, to my suprise. They feel like books from different authors!
@@LydLoves It was a random grab from a Waterstones shelf just before I went on holiday, and I spent the whole week away trying to make it last! Hope you vibe with it, if you do decide to give it a whirl 😊
I forgot to talk about The Wheel of Time!! I read book number 12, and it was finally a book in this series I would have considered giving 5 stars! So fun and exciting!!
Drive Your Plow was the kookiest read! Cleverly crafted plot and poetic lyricism. Lots of my favourite topics covered too. Gotta love an astrology angle 😅
I am here for all the unhinged lesbians. Haha. Chlorine is going all the higher up my TBR. I’ve seen a few people who haven’t loved Brotherless Night, I did but I could see what you meant with your thoughts. I was just pulled in. I hadn’t heard of Monumenta and am now intrigued. Going to pick it up and try the prose when I’m next in a bookshop.
If you ever come to Munich, we have a book club in the Munich city library where women meet and talk about books they're currently reading. We'd love to meet you!
Hi, me and my best friend enjoyed your vlog! We are enjoying your videos! The books all sound interesting. We enjoy watching YT videos together. We are guys who enjoy hauls, shopping, reviews, travel, reaction and decor vlogs.

Sounds so lovely! I will let you know if I’m ever there!
@@LydLoves deal!
hä wo denn?
I read Brotherless Night and although interesting you are right about characterisation. More like an academic view of events.
I am now reading Enter Ghost so I will see how I feel about this one
Yes, I agree! Let me know what you think of Enter Ghost!
Great vid!
Thank you!!
An average of 6 books is my speed per month. The 18 books in June were a glitch because of a Readathon.
Wow so amazing! Which readathon did you do? I love a readathon!
@@LydLoves I did the Amazing Readathon hosted by @FourPawsandaBook
This is a Blair Waldorf stan account so I must read magnolia parks
You’d love it it’s so silly and toxic

Thank you so much 🤗
I also loved Drive Your Plow but could not get through Books of Jacob. Let me know if it's good!
Ooh interesting! My next read from her will be Flights I think!
You're so worldly it's intimidating! 😅
Haha thank you so much!
I am just reading Brotherless night. I am struggling to pick it back up. Not impressed so far x
It was a struggle for me to finish!
How do you manage to read so much? :)
I guess she also uses audio books so she can 'read' and do other things.
I have a video where I talk about this a bit! But also my job is reading at the moment which definitely helps!
