@@Eagle8, dont need to see anything else Santi, pay him already. Hell playing like the best player we have this year. Everyone else needs to step up including the suppose to be starters
Santi is gonna hit the mid-level. He is expected to earn around 40M trough 3 seasons, aprox. The team can afford that, and should do. If not, other team will take profit from this fenomenal player made in Memphis.
Let's give Jenkins some credit for good coaching and rotation combinations for this game. The refs were terrible, Ja getting thrown out, the bench outscoring big time against the opposing team. Clawing back in this one. Plus Smart actually playing like he should and not making bonehead mistakes late.
I thought it might be fun to see what us fans would pick as a starting line up and the rotation players. Do not include anyone out with an extended long-term injury I'll Start: Starting 5 Ja Morant Desmond Bane Zach Edey Santi Aldama Jaren Jackson Jr. Rotation Players Jay Huff Scotty Pippen Jr. Marcus Smart Jake LaRavia Jayleen Wells Luke Kennard
Boston gets too cocky sometimes, they almost blew a home court win to Detroit a couple days ago. I think if the Grizz keep up the consistency they may get a sneaky win from them. Plus Smart will probably be very motivated to get the W
Ja has anger/frustration issues. Like chill man, when Lebron makes him feel small, he tries to attach back, when there is a bad call, he yells at the refs. When he plays bad, Ja seems to try very hard to play better, and when he doesn't, he gets mad, and explodes. Then he will attack the rim and dunk and be injured. He is shooting horrible this season. I find Grizz play better as a team without Ja. Pippen Jr. actually runs the offense much better. You need Ja as a closer, but at times he causes more bad than good. Same with Smart, he causes more bad then good, thats why he got traded. You need sound, savy, calm players, thats how you win championships. Not hot heavy, made, get you back, take dumb fouls, dumb players, risky players.
So it didn’t make sense to pay one of the best fill in/back up point guards $15 million but it’s ok to pay $15 million for a back big even though you have a bunch of bigs 😂😂. Now Joe how does that even make sense to you. And I like Santi I just don’t get how you had a problem with one and not the other
@@LockedonGrizzlies😂😂 actually it don’t because Santi have yet to be at the 5 and succeed. And Santi plays the 3 against below .500 teams so that’s kind of pointless. Tyus play the most important position on the court and did not turn the ball over. Most importantly the reason why it doesn’t make sense you have Wells,Vince,Smart,GG, and Jake if we keep him to play the 3. We have Jaren,Clarke,Jake, and GG by previous shows can play the 4. And we have Jaren,Edey,Clarke, and Huff to play the 5. Again how does it make sense to pay Santi $15 million when we got a crowed front court and not Tyus when he was the best back up in the league 😂😂?
Santi has been the most CONSISTENT of all the Grizzlies so far!
1a. Jaren 1b. Santi
FACTS SANTI SHOULD START OVER JAREN

Goon is on crack. He maybe he should start over Clarke but not Jaren.
I wouldn’t 100% say that. He did have a stretch where he was struggling from 3 but he has gotten back on track.
The Celtics game will be a good test to measure the Grizzlies. Forget the power ranking. Just play ball.
Pay that man, he is definitely worth it
Santi can earn it if he's more consistent.

@tonytrice3607 Are you talking about a Konchar type extension or a major deal?
Go Santi !
I say go all in on Boston and have a Cam Spencer master class on Sunday haha
Role players seem to always play better at home.
I agree!

I have enjoyed the team much better this year vs last season
haha, that team was tanking to get the new C after Aquaman loss and all those injures. Opposite targets, no comparison.

Jaren Jackson Jr.
Rotation Players
Jay Huff
Scotty Pippen Jr.

Grizz Nation. Let’s go! Celtics win would erase the mavs collapse

Look at Santi's availability as well
Can Santi become a better defender and then be full time replacement for Brandon Clarke
Clarke plays as a C Aldama is a F/SF

Santi Aldama can play the 3, 4, and 5. Tyus Jones could only play the 1. So yes - it does make sense. - JM
