  • Thank you for joining me for this week’s cash stuffing video!
    My name is Briana, I am a 31 year old who has been using the cash envelope method since 2020 to help me get ahead on my finances. I am consumer debt free so the only debt I have is my house which I purchased last year. My goal for 2025 is to get my mortgage balance below $100,000 by December 31. (Current balance as of this writing is $107,663.44.)
    I hope you enjoy the video and subscribe if you haven't already!
    My envelopes and placeholders are all from Lily Budget's Etsy so go check her out!

    a tip is what you can give 😊 $20 is enough.

    I say $20. Is plenty ❤❤❤

    I think you tipping her $20 is perfect because I look at it as if she is charging you $160 that is for the products she is using and maybe a little for her time. Now because you go to her on a regular basis she probably doesn't expect a tip from you or maybe anyone at all. I'm sure she appreciates what you give and if she is anything like my hairdresser she appreciates your business. I also give my hairstylist a "Christmas bonus " if you will BECAUSE she always makes any arrangements to fit me in whenever she can to fit my schedule and she does go above and beyond for a regular like me. I usually do $50 at Christmas time. Who doesn't appreciate a little extra at Christmas. Just a thought. Great video as always ❤

    Hey! Hairstylist here -- I would say tips are appreciated but not expected at all. Most of my clients tip 10-20%.

    I am finally paying off a huge bill on a portable building my husband got back in 2023, the interest and principal were eating at the payment. I’m sad to use my savings to pay it off but it’ll save me $2-$3,000 in the long run. I’ll slowly pay myself back as if I did still have the monthly bill.

    Californian over here. In-N-Out is definitely worth the long car lines in the drive through. I think they have the best milkshakes for fast food and if you haven't tried it yet, order Animal style fries. I have money left in my eating out envelope. Think I know what I'm getting for lunch today 😆

      It really is! It made me realize how much food I waste. I buy things with the intention of using them and then they either go bad or just get shoved to the back of the pantry/freezer. Definitely trying to quit that!

    If you do an extra principal payment a month it will go down quicker. I add $300.00 extra principal a month to mine. I am hoping to have our house paid off by the end of next year. You are doing a great job.

      @BrianaBudgets  3 дня назад +1

      That’s awesome! I do an extra principal payment every month. I’m hoping for $700 per month unless something unforeseen happens to the budget. Congrats on having your house almost paid off!
