- This is the APS Cam870 shell ejecting airsoft shotgun. Each trigger pull fires 17 6mm plastic airsoft BBs. Is this the most realistic airsoft shotgun?

Actually, it's Co2. Although, you could do it with HPA I suppose.

V1 is good, but is no longer available.
V2 is bad, the gas is stored in the bolt. This means that you only get a few shots before running out of gas, and the range is horrendous.
V3 is what you want. Like V1, the gas is stored in the shells, there are just a few slight internal differences.
If you live in the US, Evike does stock them, but last time I checked, they only had the V2 for sale. You can change a V2 to a V3, if you don't want to import one.

This is an APS Mk2 with a Mk1 bolt. So, $300 for the gun and $55 for the bolt. You can just get the Mk3 from Asia, but then you'd have to count on shipping too.
Also added the Advanced Technology top folding stock for another $70.
So yeah, quite the pretty penny

@@Phobiamaster23 It's from an absolutely amazing GBB youtuber called Explosive Enterprises. I highly recommend checking out his video on the APS Cam870 if you're considering buying one. He has a ton of excellent advice for getting the replica to operate as smoothly as possible.
You can either buy this tool from Shapeways, or print it off for free with the file he uploaded to thingiverse (I think that was the site)

А теперь представьте схему, в которой балон спрятан в дробовике, в патронике соеденение во внутрь патрона, а патрон заполняешь сам, это помоему будет круче, тк можно заполнить большим количеством шаров, а так же совать пули. Это какой потенциал для отыгровок и красивой игры, но даже представленый дробовик уже вводит в экстаз
вроде большинство дробовиков работаю по системе, что патрон имеет несколько отверстий, куда засыпаются шары. Когда стреляешь, гг выпускается из сопла специального и выталкивает шары из патрона, так удобнее и практичнее.
@@jockal и дешевле, насколько сам знаю дробовики с патронами которые ты описал принимают один патрон, и то его можно назвать магазином, по такой схеме проще сделать дробовик. А что я описал, мои мысли о том, что было бы прикольно, но при этом все таки в приемлемых ценах, поскольку тут балон в патроне и терять его будет больновато. О практичности речи небыло, скорее что я описал это на антураж и особенность использования. Удобство надо смотреть. Но мне кажется в патроне из шортса целая пуля не влезет, хотя надо смотреть в живую, да и побольше шариков за раз хочется выстрелить хоть иногда
Кстати, как то думал о законой стороне вопроса описанной мной схемы, возможно будут вопросы о мощности дробовика, мне кажется при разных снарядах, энергия будет разная, отсюда игрушка может стать оружием, в таком случае будет больно
@@lutiyk ну, скорость полета пули выходит из силы давления газа в момент выстрела. Чем больше вес пули, тем меньше она ускорение приобретает. Выходит, что по силе удара будет примерно одинаково.

Mk2 is the only version available in the US, and that version is garbage.
So, you have two options. Order a MK3 from Asia or buy a MK2 shotgun and install a MK1 or MK3 bolt in it.

Ok, last option is something I don't own, but I personally think is really cool, and I'd be tempted to get if I didn't already have the pump action. This uses the same shells, but is cheaper, has a larger capacity, and doesn't eject your shells all over the place: www.evike.com/products/112870/

does it work with steel bbs?
Basically, anything you can fit into the shell should work. I've seen people shoot paintballs, pepper balls, and even berries. However, with steel BBs, I'd have two concerns. 1. The weight of the projectiles would be so high, I don't know how much force would actually be going out of the barrel. 2. The barrel isn't made of steel, it's some kind of alloy. So, shooting steel BBs that can loosely rattle down the barrel, might cause a lot of wear and tear. Just some thoughts...
@@thatgbbguy Thank you so much for reply, i think since it's powered by C02 it could shoot the steel BBs but the barrel would need to be made out of some stronger material to not get damaged by the BBs

Why are there so many versions of the cam 870
Supposedly, V1 could be converted to chamber and fire real shotgun shells. I have no idea if this was actually possible, or if this was the actual reason they redesigned it, but that's the lore.
V2 stored the CO2 inside of the bolt. However, the reservoir was waaaay too small, so you'd only get a couple shots off before you'd have to top it off. Plus, even the first shots were super weak. Basically, V2 is straight up garbage and a waste of your time.
V3 uses the gas-in-shell design again. However, it has been redesigned to make it more difficult to convert to accept/fire real shells.
I don't think that it could fire shells since it doesn't have a firing pin

@@GunShooter47 V1 and V3 do have firing pins. And as far as the strength of the barrel, I don't know if the ATF (or any other governing body) would care. As long as you could actually fire the shells with minor modifications, it'd probably be an issue.
Regardless, I'm just the messenger. I don't have any knowledge of any actual statements given by APS.
