4 Weeks Since Applying Scotts Halts Crabgrass Preventer | Pre-Emergent Results. I wanted to give my opinion and overall review after 4 weeks since applying a pre-emergent. Overall, pretty satisfied with the product. Scotts Halts Crabgrass Preventer works well and preventing many common weeds, some more difficult problem areas I will need to address, with post-emergents, especially for those ground cover weeds like Ivy, Violet, etc.
