  • a video of our crabbing trip to coos bay oregon. we got our limit in no time of dungeness crab.
    bait: chicken - which is the best bait for crab that I've found.
    I've found that coos bay is the best place for crabbing on the oregon coast. and the best months are ones that end with an "R".
    hope you enjoy the show, and stay tuned for my next crabbing video on the oregon coast.

    P K , If the walls of the crab pots keep spreding apart and not staying lined up, get some "" hog rings ''to fix the gap problem.

    You always want to grab crab from the back, so the claws don't pinch you.

      I just bought 2 dungeness crab today from Asian store for $80. Fourty dollars each crab. How unfortunate for us to be living in the South where seafoods are like gold.

    You might want to learn how to handle a crab, at the end you just ripped that crab's claw right off & then it back in the water with the torn off claw. maybe it was because the other crab pinched one of your fingers and you were po.

      +PK Yi Yeah, I don't crab from the docks very often. It's fun in the kayak though. I enjoy your videos! I've been subscribed for a while. Give my channel a visit some time. Salmon season is in full swing here on the Coos. I'll be posting videos of those adventures throughout September.

    • @oregonlife

    • @oregonlife
      @oregonlife  6 лет назад

      Never went to the East coast before to catch blue crabs. They seem smaller and require a smaller mesh. So maybe this pot will work: amzn.to/2NBaYZY
