Hi Kathleen... I also knit and those pins are called lightbulb markers that you can use to keep track of your rows. Lovely stitching as usual. Have a good 4 days off....enjoy the 4th.
Thank you so much for telling me the name of those pins! I knew they were used for something, but forgot about knitting. It’s one craft I never mastered well enough to need to mark stitches. lol. Hope you had an enjoyable 4th!
Thanks for showing us the floor stand. I'm looking into it for myself now, because I really liked your review. I'm really looking forward to meeting you at "Wild", we'll be there before you know it 😄
SITW is going to be here before we know it! I can’t believe how fast the past two months have flown by. I better get started on my small for September. lol. I can’t wait to meet you there!
Hi Kathleen! I sure do hope you are able to find your pattern for the ABCs piece you're working on. It's so frustrating when that stuff goes missing. My stitching mojo is on vacation too. I haven't picked up a needle since June 8. It always comes back with a roar, though, so the break is good for me😊. Thanks for showing the floor frame. I'm really seriously looking into getting one that would work with a Q Snap. My wrists really need some relief when I'm stitching, but I love my Q Snap, so whatever I get will have to accommodate it. Loved seeing all your projects today! Looking forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks at the retreat. Let me know if you want me to save you a seat at our table!
I found my pattern! When I went to stitch a different project and couldn’t find that pattern either, I realized they had to be together, and would have only been together when I filmed a FTube. I started looking and they were buried in the pile of fabric I had dyed. I can’t believe Stitch NJ is only a week away! I’ll be there early, so I’ll likely find you in the lobby like we met last year. My friend Lana is coming this year too.
Thank you so much for telling me the name of those pins! I do remember now seeing plastic ones exactly the same shape to use for marking in knitting. Knitting is one skill I never fully mastered well enough to need to mark stitches.
Now I could spit out my tea if I were drinking some! 😂😂😂 So, I'm seeing that Matilda chair and thinking, hmmm, I would need to alter those colors. And then I remembered...all I see is in her chest area...😂 rather than arms... Congrats on your new stand! I'm impressed that on your beachy scene, the white still shows so well. Those kids are cute! And good call on his swim shorts! 😊 Looking forward to Stitch NJ!!!
Hi Kathleen, Thanks for your review on your new stitchy stand. I consider myself a new stitcher since I do not use my Lowery stand as often as I should. I am experimenting with silks and bought a couple of kits to start my collection but honestly, so many threads, so little time. I did enjoy using Classic Color Works for the Primrose Quaker Christmas and also the Blue one. I am not sure I will use the lavender shade for the Spring. Please be advised I used two skeins of floss. Hope you enjoy your upcoming retreat.
Thanks for the heads up that the Primrose Quakers took two skeins! I’m doing mine one over one, so hopefully one skein will be enough. I am loving the K’s Creation stand, which is very similar to the Lowery. My biggest challenge is the arm on my loveseat is about 1 - 1 1/2 inches too high, so I can’t lower the piece as much as I would like. Trying to work with it for a while before giving in and rearranging furniture so I can use the recliner instead.

Thanks Kathleen. I love your videos. See you next time.
Thanks for watching!
Coilless safety pins! I use them almost exclusively as stitch markers for my knitting. :)
