for some reason the mini really attracts the masochistic foody that goes to great lengths to cook with it or make it better. It's truly the nerdy treasure trove of outdoor stoves and i just love all that content of men going all the way to make the mini work wonders.
Trangia need to stop bothering with their silver aluminium set completely and just make non-stick everything using the same Teflon-coated hard annodized aluminium that GSI uses for their Soloist and Dualist pot kits. I literally don't use my Trangia anymore because I grew very tired of having to SCRUB it clean, whereas with my GSI Soloist pot, I only have to gently WIPE that thing clean with a fluffy towel with no effort at all and everything comes off the same way it would from a Tefal frying pan at home.
I don't have one of the sticker printers, if you sold the printed patern, people would beat a path to your door. I would be the first to send you the money! Great Idea!
Man. I wish u were game to make a few to sell off. Ild most definitely buy one and cover whatever labor cost to be worth your time. The windscreen that is.
Really excellent, but might not fit in my backpack. Will look to adapt to a fold away version or something. Still, really great. Must cut the boil time hugely!
That is the coolest thing ever!! What would you charge to make a set of windscreens for the 28 I am waiting to receive? Or what would you charge just to make the layout pattern patterns and send to me?
Hi, you guys really should do a copy of the Trangia Lykta lantern. This has been unavailable for many years and whenever one comes up for sale on eBay, it sells for a lot of money, when you could get them they only cost a few dollars etc back then.
Trangia Windshield 27L Lower - 93 grams - cost $16.70 (USD) Windshield 27L Upper - 167 grams - cost $23.80 260 grams - $40.50 Trangia 1L aluminum Saucepans - $6.80 each Inner - 79 grams Outer - 83 grams 162 grams - $13,60 Save 98 grams (is less due the used bolts), and $26.90 In raw numbers the gain are little, but in % expressive, around 40% of the weight for 34% of cost. Well, and $$$$ in tools for make the "mod". ;)
I'm just trying to get kitted out I've got a gas cassette cooker but it's way too bulky so I'd love to be able to afford a trangia stove kit just to be able to boil some water as I'm dehydrating my foods for weight saving etc
the idea is to have something that works like a trangia 25 or 27 in the wind, not just a simple lightweight pot stand. i've been on high mountain hikes where people with simple pot stands had to eat their food cold because their lightweight stove setup wouldn't work in the wind.

I'm a Trangia fan and I must congratulate you on your fine work
A couple of strap clips riveted on the outside of the windshield would just finish it off nicely. You must be the ultimate Trangia fan! Well done!
Simply great! Wish it was available in mass production ... as "Trangia 29". ;)
Great job! I actually just built my own version of a Trangia mini like this out of stainless bowls and a small skillet
I mean... wow. Bravo!!!
My whole channel is dedicated to Trangia cooking. I have to do this!!
Simply amazing.
IF Trangia actually made one of these in Titanium including the burner they would have a big success on their hands !

That's much better than the mini Great Idea

Wonderful, awesome job and great attention to detail!!!
While he was doing this with his hands he was playing the banjo with his feet.
Genius! Well done. Awesome build, really well made. I'm impressed.
Great job! Trangia should take produce one this size.

Brilliant! well done...also the soundtrack.... perfect
i might try this if i can find trangia 27 pots for a good price. they're pretty expensive in north america to cut up for a project..
A small price to pay for A rare trangia HA 27.5
Man. I wish u were game to make a few to sell off. Ild most definitely buy one and cover whatever labor cost to be worth your time. The windscreen that is.

cool. great video
Really excellent, but might not fit in my backpack. Will look to adapt to a fold away version or something. Still, really great. Must cut the boil time hugely!
Great creativity! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, trangia mini stormcooker, nice 😎👍
Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant I'm doing it tomorrow
Love it! Might make one myself
Nice for a Trangia fan....if the pots are cheap enough to buy it would be worth doing for sure.
👍
Genius, love it
Superb! I was thinking why don’t trangia make a one person version of the 27 I think I’ll cut my old pans down and make a gas version of this...
Great idea.
That is the coolest thing ever!! What would you charge to make a set of windscreens for the 28 I am waiting to receive? Or what would you charge just to make the layout pattern patterns and send to me?
Please send me one too, I will pay!
Awesome idea and work.👍
Hi are you using 2 inner saucepans for this build?

It's unbelievable ...he made that thing better than Chinese !!! LMAO 😂👍
Nice build
that was awesome
do you know if TRANGIA 25 Non-Stick Frypan, 8.7" and Trangia 25 Non-Stick Saucepan (1.75-Liter) fit together like mini?
Nice job I must say for how much they cost I considered making one myself good job
Very well done 👍
Brillant !!
Awsome!
太牛了!mini Trangia!
Interesting Trangia. A lot or work. Enjoy. Really nice job. So what are you calling it, a Trangia 29. You sure are gifted.
Size wise would have to be the 27.5?
Just been looking for the twin inner pans like you have can only see them as separate items, where did you obtain yours as a pair
Mycket välgjord ❤❤❤
Fantastic
I’m curious what the weight difference is vs. the 27. My guess is not enough to warrant the trouble. But great job on the build.
Trangia Windshield 27L Lower - 93 grams - cost $16.70 (USD)
Windshield 27L Upper - 167 grams - cost $23.80
260 grams - $40.50
Trangia 1L aluminum Saucepans - $6.80 each
Inner - 79 grams
Outer - 83 grams
162 grams - $13,60
Save 98 grams (is less due the used bolts), and $26.90

Awesome job thanks
There was a commercially available upper/lower for the 28, about 12 years ago, but when I tried to place an order it was gone.
i think they've been out of stock for awhile because of the pandemic
유쾌한 씨는 유쾌하기도 하지.
So cute😍
Trangia 27.5?
impressive!!!
👍👍👍
trangia company should buy this off you
Cool mod.
Awesome!! Can you make me a set? I’ll pay of course. I just don’t want to go through the trouble
mint
What's the weight?
Trangia 1L aluminum Saucepans ($6.80 each)
Inner - 79 grams
Outer - 83 grams
Plus the screws, nuts ~ 200 grams
Neat
Buy a colander with a raised base/lip (use the raised base/lip for sitting the pot/kettle on) hole cut the bottom of the colander out.
I do not think the one I saw was from Trangia. Buy an oven liner at a dollar store and cut strip to make a w/screen.
Bitte sag mir, dass du die auch verkaufst! :D (Beste Grüße von jemandem der mit zwei linken Händen gesegnet ist...)
👏👍👌🇳🇴😷
Can you sell me one ?
I'd pay for this to mode to be made.
Well if you have the tools go for it..
I'm just trying to get kitted out I've got a gas cassette cooker but it's way too bulky so I'd love to be able to afford a trangia stove kit just to be able to boil some water as I'm dehydrating my foods for weight saving etc
The idea is to have something lite.

Du solltest für Trangia arbeiten 😜
Skip the soundtrack 🙉
All you need to do is gather up rocks around your alcohol stove to protect it from the wind.
