    Amazing ep, thanks. Yes, when I discovered Todd in late 2022, there were 1 or 2 videos of him on YT. Now... he definitely is famous in our latter-day corner of the internet.

    I was so excited to see you two would be sharing your insights❤. If only I could be a fly on the wall for more of these conversations you have to hear your wisdom! So many things resonated with me in this episode. The idea of balance between the masculine and feminine, not trying to “escape” life by focusing so much on end times that we aren’t becoming more like Christ…that we should be facing our darkness and really be out loving and living! That devoting our hearts daily and fervently to Christ and serving in small loving/caring/moments can bring great change within us. This includes sometimes letting our adorable little ones yank on our hair 😂 💕. Thank you both

    I am so deeply touched by this discussion. I had to stop for a while and just digest it. I will finish shortly and then rewatch it. So many things here that I have been working on and being taught by the spirit.. and this clarified many things for me. What a generous and loving discussion. Thank you so much. BTW. I didnt mind your baby (and other children??) with you at all. No problem here. Life is real. I owned a health food store for natural healing for over 20 years. My daughter was with me all the time. Some were upset about that, but I told my employees and client/customers that family comes first always.. and I was there for them (my client/customer) but I was always there for my daughter/family, also. It is the right way to be. No excuses.. Just reality.. God bless you Meghan. So glad you had Todd on. Does he have his own channel? Who is he and what is his background, I haven't heard of him till I saw an interview with Randy Brown.

    Every interview with Todd is so enlightening and is helping to unveil the tree to my eyes. It’s evident the horrific and violent images John and others saw in the last days of people consuming each other and mothers consuming their young was spiritual murder. Love the entropy/ murder for gain vs sacrifice insight. So many trying to violently consume the light in others. I’m sure if we could truly see the violence against our spirits it would be terrifying.

    Thank you so much for another insightful dive into truth. When i saw that Todd was on, i immediately jumped on it. He has an amazing grasp of the gospel and has helped bring more light to SO many principles. I loved the reminder of the wonderful gift of our priesthood/temple garment. It is definitely something most of us do not have a good understanding of. We must be more mindful!! SO many incredible points brought out by both of you! THANK YOU!! and the bonus on this episode was your little one!! No distraction here - it warmed my heart. ❤😊

    Good points on Spiritual entropy, organizational hierarchy and the validity of the covenant within that structure. He mentions, "The Law of Moses didn't bring Salvific power but preserved them to obtain the covenant." In the Western Catholic rite, Ex opere operato is a Latin phrase that means "from the work performed" or "by the work worked". It refers to the idea that Ordinances (sacraments) are effective because of the power of God, not because of the recipient's activity or the minister's merits. For example, the validity of sacraments doesn't depend on the worthiness of the minister. So if someone is about to die, and a sinful lay person or Priest baptizes the dying individual, that ordinance is Valid and the recipient of the emergency ordinance is preserved by God to obtain the covenant.

    You've made me think the trend in gender dysphoria and women demanding treatment as though they are men totally destabilizes the hierarchy. How ironic, those who've caused the imbalance then cry foul over what they see as toxic masculinity. It's not so toxic as imbalanced.

    • @lddisciplespodcast
      @lddisciplespodcast  4 месяца назад +3

      I would argue that these movements are responses to a hierarchy that was already out of balance, and, rather than balancing it, are furthering the problem. But they aren’t the origin of the imbalance. That happens when we deny the rightful priestesshood, the correct alignment of women to God. A corrupt masculine puts it out, extinguishing it. Then the response is to adopt the masculine in a way to exert dominance in the name of women, but which further perpetuates iterations of corrupt masculine. The solution is to balance both masculine and feminine at all levels, beginning with the individual spirit being balanced with God, with their own flesh/spirit and then expanding outward into marriages, families, and broader communities. So long as individuals continue to be imbalanced in themselves (in this realm, masculine tends to be the dominant energy for both men and women) then the corruptions and negative responses will continue.

    I’m not LDS but one thing I don’t understand about your faith is the stance my LDS friends have regarding stewardship of our planet. Most really have no interest in trying to reduce our fossil fuel usage to reduce pollution and improve our air quality. When I say something like what kind of earth do you want to leave for our future generations in a thousand years? I get a response of “It doesn’t matter as Jesus is returning to earth soon to “celestialize” the planet”. So it’s basically Eat, Drink, and be Merry when it comes to the environment yet I’m violating some spiritual law when I consume coffee. What gives? Makes no sense to me.

      Sounds like some of your LDS friends haven't put much thought into it. Many of us believe in being true stewards by loving and cultivating our natural environments. That doesn't mean that we trust the recommendations of public figures however, who have a massive track record of failed predictions and abuse of power.

    • @Zeett09
      @Zeett09 4 месяца назад +2

      @@DoctrineofChrist248 yeah. That could be. This is my simple anecdotal story. It just seems like there is a pattern of my LDS friends (granted older folks) against windmills, against electric cars, against solar panels, against protecting endangered species. Maybe I need to expand my friend circle.

      @@Zeett09 no worries! I'm sure your friends are awesome people. I am a firm believer that we are woven into each other's lives for a reason - you must be in their lives not only to be a source of love, but to teach them something about actionable stewardship, no matter what they think about the end time!

      Well, all things are Gods to give, and the Earth's 100% sole purpose is to support man. Maybe by not using it properly we're not honoring her or her use. And maybe it's a narcissistic inversion to assume it's pillaging and abuse, instead of using her bounty. And nowhere does Jesus say the Earth and its resources are finite. So maybe the false beliefs of man are to blame.

    • @rocksteadyras
      @rocksteadyras 4 месяца назад +4

      @Zeett09 while I don't think we currently have the most sofisticated technology for energy and how to harness it, it is provable solar panels, windmills, and electric cars are everybit as damaging to the environment and in no way more cost effective. It's not a generational issue.
