woww love this informative video! It was such a Godly timing video that arrived. I'm currently finding myself in this situation. But truly if it's God's will, He will make it happen! Thank you so much sis for persevering and sharing hope through this video and experience of yours. Sending much love and support from Australia. 🥰🙏
I think 20 is just their targeted cohort size. I feel like MS SLP programs accept more applicants (based on ASHA ED find). I had a 3.39 GPA and just got into the only grad school I applied to straight out of undergrad!
I’m happy to hear MS SLP programs are accepting more students ! Congratulations on being accepted into graduate school ! It’s such a huge accomplishment ! I hope you go celebrate yourself today !
This is Gods providence because not only are you an SLP, a field im interested in, you are following the advice of my favorite financial guru dave ramsey and pursuing a relationship with God! 3 package deal. You got yourself a new subscriber
Thx for your video,it’s of great help! We are quite similar bcz I majored in Journalism of Broadcast and Television and got my bachelor degree. I realized I didn’t want to be a journalist anymore after several internships. Then I majored in Comparative Education and got my master degree. Now I’m quite interested in becoming a SLP,but I am a non-native speaker and there must be lots of challenges in the process of pursuing the dream, especially the money and time gaining a master degree and getting certified.what suggestions would you give to me?(I’m an Aisan)
Wow! I'm glad i came across this video. I just acquired a degree in B.A linguistics but along the line i developed interest in SLP. So, i concluded on having my masters degree in SLP, but i'm confused on which country and school will be suitable to study SLP. Please, can you recommend any?
@@TSlater_ wow! Thanks for Responding. I’m happy to hear it worked out. I’m so scared to apply to grad school. I read a meme a few days ago that reads, if you’re scared to do it, then do it scared. I’m in Florida and I’m thinking about moving to Georgia just stuck between Florida schools and Georgia schools. I can apply here and start a program or wait until I move. I’m just all over the place. Anyways congrats. I’m glad to see a lot of us 👋🏾 in the field.
Most schools prefer you to have a bachelor’s degree prior to starting the master’s program . If you do not have a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders, then the graduate program may require you to take prerequisite courses prior to admission .

Is it a must to have a Bachelors in SLP before doing the Masters
