You should put that swag in the car. Save some wind drag and wind noise.

Byron bay, lighthouse, was there 1965, showery day, could drive up to top, no charge, another vehicle turned up, a wagon , Mum , Dad, kids , plus 2 Sheep Dogs, kid opened door 1 dog got out , chased the goats over edge, goats knew the tracks, but dog didn't, end of dog, Father looked over edge, shook his head , drove off 1 dog less, us kids were so sad, Them days no money grab, Times have changed, Cheers Bevan 🤠❤️🦘🦘🇦🇺

The most southerly point on the Australian mainland, South Point is located at the tip of Wilsons Promontory National Park near Tidal River in Victoria. South Point is on a peninsula coastline featuring numerous predominant granite headlands

Seems where ever you go now in Oz, someone wants money to camp. It's getting close to a day when there will no longer be any free camping. Best of luck out there on ya trip.
