Check out *Darci Lynn (Full Audition)* shes was a young Singing Ventriloquist in this one, but later meets *Jeff Dunham* & even did a Halloween thing with him
I live in Tucson, Arizona. This past summer was in fact our hottest summer on record. We had 112 days this calendar of 100+, and its getting more humid then when I grew up. Phoenix is usually about 5 degrees hotter.
Great reaction as always. Great point Samantha regarding the Vegas dry heat. I have been to Vegas multiple times during the summer and their heat isn't that bad because it's so dry. I remember the first time I was in Vegas i checked into my hotel and was watching the local weather which stated the current temperature is 109. I was not sweating and felt great.. Here in south Texas we get the dreaded humidity and heat combo. It feels much woese here and we have many days over 100 degrees every summer.
I can highly recommend you check out Nina Conti. She’s a British ventriloquist who has a “ monkey” side kick but also uses remote controlled face masks on volunteers from the audience. You’ll love her.
I've lived on lower east coast, and I've lived in Phoenix. I'll take that dry heat over humidity any day. Arid 112° is easier than a humid 90°. Plus I can go do laundry, fold wet clothes, they dry for free. In the backseat, in about 4 miles. 😂
Talking about 'dry heat' a high ranking International level rugby referee tells this story about when he was sent to Las Vegas to ref a match. He says that he was driving his rental car from the airport to his hotel and he wondered how bad the heat could be. So, as he rolled up to a red light, he rolled the windows down and shut off the Ac. Before the light turned green the windows were back up and the AC was on.
In the mid-'60s I liked in Ormond Beach, FL. I would watch a puff little white cloud coming ashore. As it would come across the shoreline and watch it bubble up into a single Thunder Cell. I have been in Vegas when it was 115 (Dry Heat) and it still better than summer in Florida. As we put it here it feels like you are wearing the air, because of the Humidity.
They're right about Arizona. I spent 21 years in Tucson and we always counted how many days in a row the temps were over 100. 105 is nice in the shade when it's dry. Bring in monsoon season and it's as bad or worse than Florida where I happen to be now.
fun fact: in dry heat you sweat just as much as in humid heat, and sometime a little more, BUT, because it evaporates much faster it doesn't build up as much and you feel less sweaty overall, the proof in in the pudding though; you dehydrate faster in dry heat than humid heat despite feeling less hot.
I totally know exactly what you’re saying Sam about forgetting that that is Jeff and all of those dummies. They were talking about him on a show I watched, and they said he doesn’t like to sing a lot, he doesn’t like to make his dummies sing, and the guy said it’s because Jeff thinks he can’t sing. And I thought for a couple of seconds well what difference does that make! Lol lol!
It usually the other way around people tell us Arizonans we don't have it as bad because its a "Dry Heat" I hate humidity but I always respond with stick your head in the oven that's a dry heat
9:50 That's Melvin, he was sort of a one-off character. You see his name, and Sweet Daddy D's, on some of the gravestones in the Haunted House set in the beginning of Jeff's 2012 "Minding the Monsters".
The bottom left of the 4 tv screens is melvin the super hero. Hes not as involved and hes an okay character. Definitely not as good as the regulars though.
One thing with these clips they are part if a whole show where he has several stories he tells before bringing them out. Achmed was dressed as a girl for Halloween
I really like Walter - more especially as time goes by. Kinda reminds me of someone but I just can't put my finger on it - DAMN IT! Aw shut up! Wait til u get my age. It'll come to me, whatever I was thinking about. Gotta go. The crypt keeper is yelling dinner's on the table. Can't wait for that damn surprise. Every night is like Christmas. A new ugly sweater, only uglier.
I'm a Phoenix native and Walter's points are completely valid.
Check out *Darci Lynn (Full Audition)* shes was a young Singing Ventriloquist in this one, but later meets *Jeff Dunham* & even did a Halloween thing with him
Wisconsin here---Walter is so correct!! He forgot about the SNOW-----

Aww, they cut out the final pinchline.
Jeff: It's the city that never sleeps.
Walter: Well it needs to take a nap!
And the California punchline after that one about earthquakes.

Had 120° in the sun in Denver once. I then went to Grand Forks in august. It was 95° at 90% humidity. I’d rather be in the 120.

Truth! I've lived in Florida most of my life and I'm amazed that I haven't melted yet!
Arizona, everyone walks with a bottle of water - to heck with holding their phone!
I've actually been to Phoenix in July. 115 degrees THREE STRAIGHT DAYS.
Yeah we set a new record in Arizona over 100 consecutive days days of 100 degrees F or more old record was like 75days
Same for outro

August in Phoenix isn't dry, it's in the middle of monsoon season in Phoenix.
It usually the other way around people tell us Arizonans we don't have it as bad because its a "Dry Heat" I hate humidity but I always respond with stick your head in the oven that's a dry heat
