I agree, the word plays are insane in Woke Up choreography !
Fun fact : when XG performed this song on the Japanese television, Jurin changed the choreography during the "Find me in Tokyo rappin' in a skirt". She usually points to a far away place (Tokyo), but for this specific performance in Japan, she pointed to the ground, meaning right here in Tokyo. That was so sick ! 🔥🔥

XG always put d details in their production, even tho these details might not even be seen by many, they dont skip them. thats why i love XG so much. thats what i call fineness

I’m so excited to see these gals at Madison Square this October! I was spellbound when I first noticed XG on the algorithm. Makes sense someone like Sienna choreographs their routines, she’s so talented and understands the assignment every time.
I’m seeing them in Chicago and I’m legitimately going insane with anticipation.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! XG and STEEZY!!! I kid you not, when I first discovered XG it was MOVE #2 Jurin’s and Cocona’s solos. I thought they were Choreographers appearing on STEEZY. Months later I see Cocona’s viral TAPE #2 then another couple weeks pass after delving deeper into XG I realized that was them. So glad STEEZY is recognizing XG’s talent. And all the more Sienna’s masterful choreography! Hopefully we get to see a 3 choreographers 1 song to XG in the near future!!!

Sienna choreographs like 90% of their stuff, 2023 was between different people but I'm pretty sure now it's just her, she met them during their young training days which you can see in their documentary Xtra Xtra

I absolutely agree about the eye choreo. I thought so from the first time I saw it! The side dancers' hand actions at the very end even make it seem like the eye blinks! 🔥🔥🔥
I always thought it is really interesting how Clay values the work of choreographers. So, I wanted to come up with an idea (HOLA!!!): a show that focused on the choreographers and not on the bands; a video with 3, 4 or 5 MVs that had in common that they were choreographed by a specific dancer. I can already imagine Clay saying “this playwords is very common in this choreographer’s work”; “this dancer is influenced by a certain school”… I think it would be a really cool show!

I think they’ve done videos like this before tho? I forget the titles but there’s a couple of videos with choreographers, and Clay and choreographer talk abt the dances and their thought process in making them

The "nasty" part that Jurin did I didn't fully appreciate until I saw her do it live. And then I was, like, whaaaat, and rewinding it over and over. She makes it look effortless, but the girl has serious skills.

Hi, havent seen y'all even tho I'm a subscriber. This is my favorite XG song....I love the choreo and the way they express it. Kind of sad you didnt comment on Maya's parts because her parts are also sharp and powerful with incredible rapping. I hope XG does more all rap songs...LOVE IT. Please react to the choreo in Stray Kids JJam and Chk Chk Boom....Felix and Hyunjin are incredible in both videos...probably better to react to the dance practices as you can really see the incredible choreo and talent there !! thanks
What makes the choreography so unique as well is that it's very centered on how a cypher works. The choreography has many adlib elements to it that the one in the center or is the front is the focus of the choreography, and the others are the background of the choreography, emphasizing the center instead of the entire team being a the picture. It only happens on the chorus parts and ending where they all dance together
