The incidence of banding is simply because the interview camera is not genlocked to the Vū LED screen, whereas the camera used for the actual shoot would be and banding would not occur.

Vu would have better specifics but we're at a pretty extreme angle. In general as close to 90 degrees as possible

Yes - it's wild what you can film with even a small wall. I know they installed their original Vu One near the border of DR/Haiti
How good is this for shooting action scenes? Or movement around an actor
Depends on the shot - great for close-ups and medium shots. If you want to move around an actor you'll need camera tracking
