    Welcome to Time Warp Custom Paint! In this tutorial episode, we are dedicated to helping all skill levels learn the art of custom paint. Join us as we walk you through the process of gluing down a gold leaf inlay onto a metal hood panel.
    We'll start by laying out the LiME LiNE tape and masking off areas to prevent overspray, ensuring precision in our work. Using LiME LiNE spray Able sizing glue applied with an airbrush, we carefully coat the surface with light layers, avoiding oversaturation.
    After allowing the glue to set, we'll guide you through the application of the gold leaf sheets, smoothing them down using a roller and burning brush. With LiME LiNE's unique products, we can even double layer the leaf for added durability and a flawless finish.
    But wait, there's more! Learn how to create a stunning 3-D effect on the gold leaf with the LiME LiNE Leafing spin tool, adding depth and dimension to your design.
    Don't forget to show your support by hitting the like and subscribe buttons, and check out all the LiME LiNE products available on Amazon through the link in the description below. Thank you for watching, and remember to join us live every Thursday night at 7 PM California time for more exciting tutorials and tips! 🌟 #CustomPainting #GoldLeafInlay #DIYTutorial

    Is there any reason why you don't cut the sheets vertically in half and not have as much waste

      @TimeWarpCustomPaint  Месяц назад +1

      You’ll find once you do it you need to waste a little bit in order to get the sheets on smooth and correctly

    Real question, do I have to buy all this limewire stuff or will I go to hell if I make glue from water and dissolved geletan caps (pill casings) and homemade cotton/felt spinners the way we did in the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s?

      I tried laying out some silver leaf on a half helmet I painted, and I was wondering why it looked so beat up, and now I know it's because I didn't tuck in my edges! Bummer I already put the final clear on it or j would try to fix it.
