  • Lumpiang Shanghai is a type of finger food that is served during celebrations like birthdays, baptism, Christmas, New Year, feasts and other occasions here in the Philippines. It is a Filipino egg roll usually filled with pork minced, carrots celery, red bell pepper, garlic, onion, etc., however this time I made it with chicken instead of pork. It is best eaten with a dipping sauce, ketchup or spiced vinegar.
    Ingredients:
    2 pcs thigh with drumstick
    1 medium-sized onion
    5 cloves of garlic
    1/3 cup chopped carrots
    2-3 stalks celery
    1 tbsp coarse salt
    1/2 tsp ground pepper
    1 tbsp oyster sauce
    1 tbsp sesame oil
    1 pc egg
    Enjoy watching & happy cooking!

I always download these videos because they are concise and direct to the point. When I'm cooking, it's very easy to follow and it's easy to know where to go back to find the recipes.
I also download videos from another channel, Kuya Fern cooking. The directions are also clear, and there is an effort to produce good and clear videos like this channel. There are a lot of people who claim to be the "expert" in cooking but the camera works are all blurry and shaky, which makes me dizzy.
I'm glad I found this channel.
I used to watch Panlansang pinoy but the videos there are too long for some dishes that are half as complicated.
In the end, when the dust settles down, it all boils down to which videos are more helpful and more professional. Less talk and more cooking. And it's really all about the food and how to cook it. Not about what people have to say about what their family members like or what is left in their refrigerator.

is there a recipe for the wrap? also, seems like you should put them on a double or triple layer of paper towels to drain a bit of the fat?
