Cheers mate. My two favourites are Knox BMX track and Easfield in Kilsyth. But heaps of good ones around. Unfortunately no good pump tracks around that I know of.
lake mountain is really good, just get a shuttle to the top, and ride to the bottom, still around 700m of climbing and 36k, not easy but well worth it.
Thankyou for your time in putting videos together. I Like the idea of building confidence jumping on the local BMX tracks but do the BMXer's and club members get a bit knarki if we ride there on MTB's?
Cheers mate, as long as your not there on race day or tearing up the joint should be no problem. At my local you would be lucky to have a handful of people around.
Biking Car Fanatic l live pretty close to Colchester Rd so l’ll give it a crack soon. Look forward to seeing your next ride. I might give a Hey Hey My My a go this weekend.
Nice, great selection of differing terrain. Just a comment ( not meant negative) with your voice over volume, appears low. I noticed that in another one of your vids a couple vids back in the intro, then goes normal when on the trail.
Cheers for the feedback Roger, I really need to get myself some better equipment lol. I have noticed that myself, but also can't get it any higher in my editing software! Thanks for watching.
Great stuff! was the gap jump on JJ's considered medium size? not sure how long it is.. also what sort of small to medium gap jumps would you recommend doing out in Silvan? I wanna try a few to start with. Thanks. Great video!
The one at the bottom of JJ's is probably medium, maybe 2.5m, it mostly tricky to ensure you have the speed coming out of the corner before it though, especially if it is slippery. otherwise it is quiet a safe jump. There is one mid way down JJ's that would be a good starter as it has no real lander so you just take it as far as you want. the actual gap would not be much more than 2m. There is a Gap down on No Strava extension that has a A and B gap, the B might be a good starter.
Hey mate is that knox bmx track? Is it worth going out there to practice jumping? I'm confident with medium sized jumps but still feel I need to dial my form before attempting the bigger stuff eg. Buxton, you yangs sized gaps
nice vid! Where are your favourite bmx tracks/pump tracks around melbourne to practice?
Cheers mate. My two favourites are Knox BMX track and Easfield in Kilsyth. But heaps of good ones around. Unfortunately no good pump tracks around that I know of.
@@BikingCarFanatic sweet, once we have some freedom I’ll have to head out that way and check them out
Thanks for sharing mate! Im not much of a jumper, but wanted to try.
Thanks mate, for sure give it a try. Start small and slowly work your way up.

Just not this time of year haha, will be covered in snow soon :)
@@BikingCarFanatic haha definitely
Nice little overview of jumps near Melbourne. Will definitely try out the Bmx track in Kilsyth.
Cheers mate, if you're local check it out for sure. Otherwise heaps of good BMX tracks around. Good for learning manual skills too!
Come across your channel from WP, love the local knowledge and presentation. Earned a sub. :)
Cheers mate, glad you like the channel.

Its well worth a look, the climb up can be tuff!
Good vid mate!! Solid content👍I've ridden most of these and they're fun!
Cheers mate, cant wait to get back out there again. So good.

Hi Tiamana, Knox is good for this, I remember they have a couple of nice doubles to practice. But this is the Eastfield BMX club in Kilsyth.
Where's the very last jump trail at the end there?
Hey Karl, that's the skills park at Lysterfield Park.
You forgot bright mtb park, Lake eildon mtb park, the Olinda pines and red hill bike park
I was focusing on ones a little closer to Melbourne, buy you're right all good spots :)
Is lysterfield open at the moment?
Last I heard it was closed until today 24th June 2020. But have not heard anything about opening again tomorrow yet?
It's open
Your Giant seems to be great for jumping, what model is it, I've forgotten, great to watch nice vid
Cheers Jem, Its a Giant Trance 27.5. At my height I'm in the middle of a M and L. I chose the Medium so I could throw it around a little easier.
Hey man, wheres that BMX track?
Hi Aaron, That's Kilsyth BMX Club. It has a great run of larger doubles to practice on.
@@BikingCarFanatic Sweet I didn't know it was there. I scanned maps and found another one I didn't know about in Monbulk.
