Hi Tom and Maizie. That great house you glimpsed in New Pera is currently owned by the Charles (Parliamentarian). I used to live in that house in my early teens. I'm not sure if you continued further down on that road where you ended the vlog, but if you had continued, you would have reached the New Pera beach. As a child growing up, and someone who who visited beaches across the island, that beach was the best back then. White sand, shallow, and crystal clear water.
Thanks for sharing that wonderful piece of history about the great house, it’s always amazing to hear personal stories from our viewers! Oh, if we had known about New Pera beach, we would have certainly continued further. It sounds like an absolute paradise! Maybe next time we’ll make a special trip there. Big up yourself!
Never thought i would see the rolled up grass in st. Thomas. I love to drive through Switzerland and austria and see how they roll the sod and wrap it in these huge plastic wrappings. They have to do that cause it would be bad for the cows in the winter. It makes the cows fart a lot befouling the atmoslhere.

Very nice I’ve never been to Rocky point, would love to check it out now that I’ve seen your video. I did wonder though in the beginning as there is actually a fishing village in Clarendon by the name of Rocky point. I grew up in st Thomas and recognized some of the names of places Madge mentioned so I realized it was st Thomas

Hello friends, God's blessings 🙏🏼 Happy things worked out for you😊. Beautiful scenery and I love to see greenery ❤. I worried that with all the road work, Jamaica going to lose its natural beauty. The trees cutting down, causing the place to be so 🔥. A year ago I was in Jamaica and was sweating like a pig in heat 😊😅😮. You should be enjoying life with your beautiful wife in your retirement. I am younger and wish I were retired. Sometimes, I take out my tiredness on my husband 😱. Fresh air is good for the lungs. How was your meeting with Big Super? Nice guy😊. Madge not talking too much today, she's tired ❤. What did you eat at Wendy's? I wanted to get a Frosty today but changed my mind 😅😊. I worked hard at keeping healthy been a vegan, so afraid to mess up my diet. But when I come to Jamaica, definitely going to try Wendy's there and KFC 😂😂😂. Stay safe❤❤

Ah, "forty legs" is what we call centipedes here in Jamaica! 🐛 They can give a nasty bite, so it's best to steer clear. Glad you enjoyed the lush scenery with us on our drive. Big up yourself!
