  • Deciding whether or not to burn those hard earned preference points is a tough decision to make. 10 years of waiting and I had had my eye on this unit for a long time. Finally deciding to go for it… right, wrong, or indifferent, I was going elk hunting in Colorado and was going to see what this unit was all about.

    Pretty clear your camera man is a flatlander with all the heavy breathing or....this elk hunting is a real turn on for him. Great Video

    Awesome Trent!. Cool your camera man came so far to help. He sounded both excited and probably not used to the elevation but he did damn good. You’re the “elk whisperer!”

      @TrentWilliamsOutdoors1  11 месяцев назад +3

      Yea I’ll have 4 total episodes throughout the month. 2 are successful and 2 show the grind of what is elk hunting. Obviously most people like the successful ones but, oddly, what I hear most is that people want to see the struggle….but that must be a select few 😂

    I'll enjoy following. I have videos of my own as well (just don't have a camera man! LOL). Can't go this year, but my wife and I will be drawing next year! :) I got a great video of my solo hunt last year with my GoPro MAX taking my 4th 5x5 bull in 5 years of hunting! Wish I was introduced to hunting years ago. I'm 49 this year.

    Where did you get the attachment on your shoulder strap for your bugle string to slide around?

    • @TrentWilliamsOutdoors1
      @TrentWilliamsOutdoors1  11 месяцев назад

      it’s called a “Frankenstud Sling Keeper.” it’s proper use is to keep your rifle sling on your shoulder but works great for your bugle tube. just Google it and you’ll find it!

  • @SerrLou
    @SerrLou 11 месяцев назад

    Cameraman needs a boom mic or lavalier mic. I used to to ruin a lot of my videos cause if heavy breathing too and having those mic options as a tool really helped me hide my heavy breathing and get better sound.

    • @TrentWilliamsOutdoors1
      @TrentWilliamsOutdoors1  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hey Michael, it’s called a “Frankenstud Sling Keeper.” If you Google that, it’ll pull up the website! It’s for a rifle sling but obviously works great for bugle strings!

    • @TrentWilliamsOutdoors1
      @TrentWilliamsOutdoors1  11 месяцев назад

      It’s called the “Frankenstud sling keeper”. It’s money for keeping your rifle sling in a perfect location so it won’t slide off your shoulder, but as you saw, it also works great for keeping your tube string from digging into your neck! Just Google it and it will bring up the website to order.
