  • In This video we talk about the new resonance removal plugin by waves called the curves equator, today we are going to find out how this does for dialogue, spoken word or voice over, what ever you want to call it, lets find out if this can remove bad frequency in a speaking voice get this plugin here -waves.alzt.net... - this is definitely a soothe killer or at least a strong comparable competitor, personally i think its a little bit better than sooth.

i did have a fan running in the background to see if it removed any background noise, i think it took a little bit of the fan noise out but not as good as clarity vx or RX11 or something like that. i did turn up the volume on the clip where you can hear what its removing or it would have been kind of quiet. today I'm setting it up just to remove any problems in the low end instead of just using the learn button, it makes some subtle differences that clean up the recording a bit. i like this plugin so far. this and soothe are both really nice. both have their pros and cons, when i demoed soothe i really like it but i think it was around 250 bucks, that is a bit pricey for me.

I've never actually heard of that, I have used a bunch of these resonance removal plugins and I think they've all done a pretty good job some of them seem to do a little better than others but I think they all perform pretty similar for somebody speaking into a microphone at least
I think this one and soothe 2 have been the best I have tried so far but I'm not familiar with the one you're speaking out there, never heard of it actually
