Absolutely beautiful job. I wish I can add this type of piping on my Rolls Royce seats without complete removal of the seat material but it is what it is lol
Absolutely love the videos and that machine is incredible as well. I'd like to see you do Recaro Classic C and Ideal C chairs. I have a few sets of Recaro's that I wouldn't mine sending you if that's possible
sumporfuk Hello mate thank you for your comments, I am very busy I don’t know when soon I will have the time but would mr mind doing them, Where abouts are you located ? Regards Tony
@@CallMyReg I can only imagine how busy you must be. I am in the States and surprisingly, though, when it comes to the Classic Recaro's there are very few shops that are able to reupholster these chairs.
Man I thought you was round the corner, We can re upholster most any seat there is, if yours were here I’m sure we could do something nice with them. Again thank you
where the heck does one find a sewing machine like that? I use a REX (cheap Sailrite knockoff) and struggle continuously with it. This post type machine looks awesome but finding them new reveals only their unaffordability and searching for used has turned up nothing.
Call My Reg I’m flexible as the seats at still in the car. They have centre cloth fabric but the side bolsters on the back and base need doing. They’re a 944 seat in ‘linen’ leather.
Call My Reg Yes that’s right they join the headrest which I think is a hidden seem from memory. I was hoping to just have those two panels on both sides replaced if I can get a good colour match I.e. side leather panels on the back and the base. It has vinyl piping as well similar to your video.
austinfostermusic problem is that piping you mention is plastic and goes all up bolsters and over head rests so in replacing bolster you need to unstitch piping to replace bolster leather and when you put back you will compromise the strength of piping so then that will need replacing too
