To summerize, Howard Devoto (Vocalist) used to be part of the English Punk band, Buzzcocks, but would leave in 1977 as he felt that Punk music needed more direction, and there he would form Magazine, a Post-Punk and New Wave band direction.
Glad you love it. John McGeoch’s guitar just roars throughout the song (Sadly passed away in 2004 at the age of 48). Then we have Barry Adamson’s bass tone that is simply beautiful. As well as Dave Formular’s synth and Martin Jackson’s drumming.
“Shot by Both Sides” was their first song and hit and “Parade” is a simply underrated track they done… the audio versions are great.
    Thanks mike as always!👍
