Great review! Loved the b rolls, will be coming to you for lessons 😊. I’m still amazed by the sound output this small speaker can put out! I also wonder how it would sound if I paired it in stereo with another mania! I’m not sure Devialet have that functionality out yet, but I’m certain that they will soon, because why not? The thought of having proper stereo soundstage in portable speakers whenever I want to set up in the house is so exciting!
The case is more of a cover for when you transport the device in the box it comes in. It covers the speaker so the packaging in the box doesn't mark the fabric of the speakers.
Iam a Bit Jealous 😀 cause IT was Always my dream to have a portable of devialet. Some years ago i Had the Phantom one speaker IT was mind blowing but i Had to dell him cause my wife could Not Connect with Android there we're Problems ... I thougt why Not make IT Portable and now there IT Is 😀 can you Tell me If the Sound is a Bit similar to the Phantom and is the Stereo effect really as good as so man people Talk about ?
I can relate, waited 3 years to get one, lol. While i compared it to the Phantom II 95db, Mania has better seperation and sound stage. Bass is also very comparable. Everyone around me was shocked by how good Mania is. If you aren’t going for Stereo Phantoms, Mania is the one to go for.
Good video, thanks! ☺️ But I have an important question: I got mine yesterday, i love the sound basically, but if i listen to some tracks with an hard bass like some house or techno tracks and adjust bass/treble to plus 3 or higher and i go at 75% volume, than it sounds like the mania couldn’t handle that bass, it sounds like overdrive, like the membranes hit something or the air couldn’t get out from the inside… but that’s only with bass heavy songs, in other normal songs i could set it to +3 or so and go to 100% volume without this problem, so inreally don’t know if it’s normal because it’s simply to much bass for this thing if i put the eq to plus or if my mania is broken… 🤔 And it’s only on one side, not on the other which is strange too, but that could eventually be because it’s not exactly the same on the inside on both sides ? The thing is, i think if the speaker would be broken, then it wouldn’t play without distortion if i put the eq on neutral and 100% volume because that’s allready bass heavy, or am i wrong ? But at the same time i am a little bit disappointed because on a premium brand with the i think most expensive speaker in this class that shouldn’t be possible to acchieve an distortion in my opinion, even if i adjust the bass to +6! Could you please try this song and put the bass to +6 and go about 70% so i know if i have to send it back or its normal ? The song was: „Kolter - washed away“ and i heard it on spotify via airplay
@@arijit8381 I tried a5 in both single and stereo setups and didn’t like how it sounds. I always find most b&o speakers bass light and sharp on high notes. But you can always fiddle with app and EQ.
The speaker is useless I just got it. It's way out of sync. Don't try and watch something and expect the sound the match the video. Also no casting for Android.

Sorry that you didn’t enjoy it. With iOS devices there’s no delay with audio on both my Mac, iPhone. Did you update your Mania?
