- The Soundpeats Opera 05 earbuds come with a triple driver setup which makes them a pretty unique proposition in the true wireless audio world. Thank you Andy i always enjoy your reviews. I just don't care for the design of these. If they put the triple drivers in a Stem like the H2s I'd be very interested. The app is not very good but it works i have faith Soundpeats will improve it over time. Thanks again. 🔥🔥🇺🇸

Great detailed review like always. The big chunky size turned me away from these but apparently they are really good sounding wireless earbuds
They are only good if you like a clean and airy sound 😊
I do enjoy seeing well designed alternatives to Apple and Samsung. I like the styling of these. I also learned something about dynamic & balanced drivers.
It’s great to have some though competition as well and we the customers can only benefit from it

How is the sound quality compared to Engine 4 ?

Which TWS do you think have the best Mic/Call Quality for around $100?
I ve been using this for a year, I have to say that the sound quality is crazy good compared to any of the high end headsets.
These are definitely premium when it comes to sound
Andy, great review -- thanks. Subscribed. You said that the 05s have great sound for sub $100 buds. Would you mind sharing which buds you'd recommend under $150 in terms of hi-fi sound quality alone? ANC isn't important to me if a bud fits in-ear like IEMs. Looking for something with a wide soundstage, spatial audio, good instrument separation and when need be, rumbling bass. Thanks for your help!
With the exception of spatial audio, these would be my pick even at a slightly higher price bracket. Lypertek makes some good sounding & relatively affordable buds too but I haven't had a chance to check out the Z5 yet which is their latest offering. Or maybe there is the new Edifier Neobuds Pro 2 for 150 but again, I haven't tested those yet either

I recently purchased these during black Friday sales from Amazon, they are well built, sound is excellent and the ANC I found better than the Liberty 4. However the design is not that good and the fit is the worst compared to the rest of my buds. Taking them out of the case is a task itself. My fingers keep slipping when trying to take them out. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and love their sound quality.
These are all about sound, everything else is secondary...
I have them, I use them with Tidal Hi-fi and they sound very good :)

Considering musicality alone, which one should I pick amongst Sony WF 1000xm5, Sennheiser Momentum TWS 3 and Opera 05 ?
The Opera05 is probably your best option unless you need any of the other features the XM5 or the MTW3 have to offer

I read it on reddit some said it is better than sennheiser
I've never done an A/B comparison with premium buds but these sound much better than what their price might suggest
These do sound great, but seriously, what were you thinking, Soundpeats, with those tacky Dubai golden accents? I’m actually thinking about giving them a makeover with a matte black enamel coat. Worried about messing up the capacitive controls? Maybe, but I’m still gonna give it a shot. I feel a bit embarrassed every time I go out wearing these gaudy golden plastic bolts poking out of my ears.
I lost my engine 4 and thinking on buying them again, but now opera 05 and engine 4 are both €45, what should i buy if all i care about is sound quality and nothing else. Both offerts should be on until Saturday 17. I need to move quick.

I have Engine 4 and i wonder if it's worth upgrading to Opera 05. I only care about good fit and sound quality. I mainly use them while working out.
@@infamousX I got the engine 4 BUT I suggested the 05 to one of my friends because they are discounted at 65 right now and I know he wants a good pair of tws with noise cancelling. I will let you know if they are worth the upgrade
I got the engine 4 because I lost the case of the original pair, so I gave the old pair without the case to my dad and got a new pair. I would recharge my dad's when he needs it, they have like 12 hours of battery life so I need to charge them only once a week

Apologies, I only noticed afterwards. It's a good thing I'm not in urgent need of wireless earbuds right now since I wouldn't settle for anything else I don't think.
Although I'd be interested in knowing the practical differences between the O3 and 05

I don't want wireless charging personally, it's bad for the battery and besides is it so much of a hassle to plug it in? No, it isn't. I'll gladly take the cost savings ;)
Plenty of buds for : work out guy,,, chill and listen with these iem
bad design, good sound...
But the good sound somewhat requires such design…
