Their hearing is phenomenal. If close enough, like 10 yard or less, I think they can probably hear your heartbeat and respiration. His ears were picking up every little click coming you. Definitely knew something was different coming from you but he couldn’t really decipher what it was. By passing on one like that gives a hunter a lot of info into anticipating their body language to when things are getting dicey. Didn’t seem he was scenting you at all, bet you were downwind.

Won't be around long acting like that, although he knew something wasn't right he just couldn't nail it down
