On another note Mike is a great podcast host. He has really insightful questions and really listened and researched the host. Barry is also a great host and honestly matches the great energy. I hope they make a 2nd channel with both hosting with great hosts.
This new interview format is really showing off how much everyone has grown. From seeing them in light-hearted, short cut kitchen content, to this long form, probing (almost News level of interviewing skills) interview style is fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the episodes so far, and looking forward to more! Keep it up all (Special shout out to the editing on these, it's so seamless/

I am majorly enjoying these - enjoy seeing these smaller scale restauranteurs. Wonder if you could get some legends on too.
Its also really cool having people (sorted folks) who've been there and done the cook book done the app done the live shows and even worked in restaurants - do the interviewing since you all have the good questions and can add your own take so its becomes a discussion rather than ridgid interview.
Some body tell her that the actual issue for her feet being sore is needing orthotics - life changing and will prevent further damage

I just realized that this podcast being put on the channel sort of took the place of those "monthly" trends/foodie moments around a table vids you did a bit ago, and I think that's a fantastic way to do it!
Having a quick little conversation between yinz before the guest of some fun or exciting things you did culinarily is a great way to have a down to earth feel to the podcast. Of course, most every podcast will do this, but it's something that I really missed from Sorted, especially here on the channel! (I'm a music snob with a *big* collection, so I don't care to use spotify or any apple stuff for music streaming, including podcasts.)

I love that Barry speaks to the love you have to carry into difficult situations in order to continue to function inside of that difficulty.
Well damn, she has a great story. Sometimes you can tell someone is a hard working go getter just by the way they speak, shes one.
That was great! I love that these are so long, so there's time to really relax into the conversation without having to rush through a list of questions.
Really enjoyed this! As a gentle suggestion/request, can you add some general timestamps to the video/podcast description? This is something a lot of my favorite podcasts do, and I find it very useful when I go back in the future to try and find specific topics/stories I enjoyed.

My mac and cheese family recipe has 4 ingredients (plus salt and pepper) and you don't make a roux/mornay for it (post WW2 recipe I guess).
It's so comforting and tastes of my childhood, I could jazz it up but I know it'd be ruined if I did... the thought of all purpose in it makes me want to cry but I'd imagine that mac and cheese without all purpose would make Sian want to cry. It's really a dish that transcends recipes!
Basically, mac and cheese (however you make it) is a great call for a dish everyone should cook

Haven't missed London too much.... Until now.. I want to goto an all you can eat Caribbean Kitchen.. omg.. one of the foods I miss from London. Curried goat with rice and peas.. One of my fav meals. Thank you Sorted for introducing me to Sian.. needless to say.. I'm getting her books.

When working at a summer camp, they were keeping cookies in the oven in a plastic container, to keep them away from the animals. We unthinkingly turned the oven on to cook salmon, slightly melting the plastic. Since we were at camp, I ate some of the (not that great, commercial) cookies anyway.

I'd love to see you have another "podcast" like this with a doctor that can link cooking with positive mental health. When I first actually started cooking at home ( 4 years back) it was a part of my "Therapy" and man did it help me. Just a idea?

Off licence no longer exists . They used to be , in the old days, attached to the side of pubs. You had to be over 18/21 to go into to buy your alcohol. Now, in most supermarkets, off licences have disappeared.
Ebbers knows the old days better...

Loved the interview and vibe ❤ only thing i personally don't agree with is the mac n cheese. It's such an Anglo thing methinks... i cannot deal with the fatty texture... but hey, i know how to make other pasta bakes and can do a bechamel, so i'd probably pass the cooking test 😂

It is indeed available on regular podcast apps..... these episodes are launches on YT on Friday's, then onto podcast apps from the following Monday.
Being bound by your job to dictate your diet kind of sucks, but it is understandable.
My wife and I differ in our dietary preferences, and restrictions. She was for a few years vegan, then vegetarian, and now pescatarian. Vegan and vegetarian, we had to make two suppers every day, there is something in the beyond type "meat" that really really doesn't agree with me, and now pescatarian, (i am well aware this is very much a first world problem) but I'm kind of tired of salmon, and shrimp (common ingredients in atlantic canada), i like them both, just not all the time.
Really good interview, i enjoyed it. Perhaps I'll book a table for two years from now to force me to save for the flights and accommodations i would need to get there. Haha

Oooohhhhh NO NO NO….. M&S used to do Baked Potato flavoured crisps and they were great, no idea why they stopped as they always seemed to sell out. And no they also tasted of melted butter not just potato…. Tut!

It's not that the voices change.
I'm guessing it's more about having to speak alot louder and clearer while in the kitchen and this is like listening to them talk among themselves
If you want to hear an even bigger difference then go watch the random live YT streams
It can sound like it's recorded in a tin can at times

Picturing Thailand for your best foodgasm and not choosing thai food is a crime. Take the kung mea naam (Thai river prawn) it is better than lobster and let them make a thom yam kung (shrimp soup) and kung yang (bbq shrimp) from that and you are in heaven

It's a bit sad to see Sorted still hasn't fixed their subtitling. The difference between what's said and what's displayed is quite egregious. Rather defeats the point of subtitling at all if it isn't accurate. Would love to see your great content made more accessible!
