Diversity is the spice of life. Your 10 questions on each of the five topics are insightful general knowledge questions that people tend to take for granted, including myself. Thank you for broadening my general knowledge and imagination.
I appreciated your format. I’m visually impaired, so it was very helpful to have the Q&A read aloud. I answered 36 correctly & I believe the bonus answer is Tandori. Good questions. Fun quiz. Thanks! TK
Animals of the world 9/10 Geography and travel 8/10 Mixed trivia 9/10 BONUS Dish TANDOORI / Oven TANDOOR Brands and products 10/10 !! Leaders 7/10 Total 43/50
its called "Handi" for the cooking vessel. i didnt count the questions i got but it was somewhere in the middle. This is awesome as always, thank you sir.💜💜🙏🙏💪💪👏👏
#27 Is a trick question.Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun, which means it spends less time on the opposite side of the sun.Over many years time Mercury is the closest to all the planets.Venus gets closest to the earth on its orbit around the Sun.
Was wondering about that. Venus is the one we always see easiest. Mercury,I think,is so close to the sun it's really hard to see with the naked eye. Anyway...
I did great in a few categories. Mostly scored high in animals of the world and Brands and products. Was thinking that I'd do horribly with Brands and Products and do well with Geography. Still scraped a 29
I think that your quizzes are the best that I have come across. I have debated long and hard over the last 10 weeks whether I should comment about this, but you have turned the butchery of pronunciations into an art form. This is not a personal attack but hopefully a constructive criticism that you may wish to address. In this particular quiz, you should consider Machu Picchu and Nikita Khrushchev as examples which need to be addressed. Keep up the great work and don’t be disheartened with my comments. Stay well.
Not at all, thank you so much for commenting, and watching. I try my best to read (listen) to sources on the web for pronunciation before recording... but at the time I actually record... wooosh. It's gone out of my head!
I am sure Adrian that you and I would pronounce those names differently. A Russian may well pronounce Khrushchev that way but a Yorkshireman might not. I think Detormentis does a brilliant job of pronunciation under often difficult circumstances. 👍
I like your quizzes but I have to question your question about the sea otters. I used to live in Virginia which is on the Atlantic Ocean and I would sea otters on the rocks
I looked it up. You are possibly referring to the North American river otter, inhabiting inland waterways and coastal areas in Canada, the Pacific Northwest, the Atlantic states, and the Gulf of Mexico. Was there a river mouth nearby?
Actually Sean there is a subspecies of sea otter that is native to the Caribbean Sea and along the Atlantic coasts of Central and North America. Latin name is, Enhydra lutris atlanticus. I investigated this because I have seen them swimming and feeding near my seaside home in Newfoundland, Canada.
Quit on question 1. The Hippo is actually an omnivore, although most people think it is a herbivore, (including the person who put together these questions) It is actually a brutal omnivore that eats everything.
Thanks!
You are amazing - Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the quiz!

Yeah, that got me
I really appreciate this reply, that one answer really had me scratching my head. Thanks for explaining it!
Question 21 is tricky
34/50 bonus: tandoori dish/ofen and DANGER in German is GEFAHR...ACHTUNG is a noun and means attention...so gib acht...means pay attention ... :)
"Danger" means in German "Gefahr", German "Drohung" means in English "threat" or "menace"
1:06 hmm, if hippos are herbivores, then why do they consume animals that walk in the water, including humans?!!
Nature was not good to you.
Usually they spit them out after a bit of chewing
Got 33/50. Faire miserably in the animals category. Just 3 right. Anyway, great questions .

Tough questions and I thought knew a lot. I’m barely a brainiac. Learned a lot though
Oh dear Sean Waar is jy deesdae? I love your quizzes and your beautiful speaking voice.
I did great in a few categories. Mostly scored high in animals of the world and Brands and products. Was thinking that I'd do horribly with Brands and Products and do well with Geography. Still scraped a 29
Pretty easy. Missed a couple. Would be better without the multiple choice. Well, maybe not better but certainly more diffiuclt.
im a bright spark. YAY!
8;48 the right answer is Venus, not Mercury as you suggested.
Calculations and simulations confirm that on average, Mercury is the nearest planet to Earth-and to every other planet in the solar system.
#27 is my favourite type of question because the correct answer is so counterintuitive
Tandori for the Bonus, plus I just did my all time best I got 45/50 Thank you for the quiz! 🤔
39/50 Excellent quiz! I like the lesson provided at the end of each category. Tysmfs.

I love his pronunciations of words. Always fun to guess what he'll say. More exciting that way.
Tandoori and got 42 with just a couple of guessed answers. But, as a football fan, I confess that I got the 2022 World Cup question wrong 🙂
37. Didn't know the bonus. Guessed at the Prince so and so of Liechtenstein(correct spelling?).

Sea Otters can be watched in the Atlantic off the coast of Scotland.
Yes but the don't live there... they only go there on their holidays!

42/50. Tandoori after the Tandoor.
Sadly, 36. Should’ve been around 40, there were about 10, I just did not know and all the head scratching time I could’ve taken wasn’t going to help.
