Cher's version was probably meant for the club (I prefer the Cher from the 80s), but this one hits you in the feels and her voice is phenomenal.

The original was an amazing song! Also, Cher didn't have to use autotune for this song, it was an added effect to change it up.

Cher did not "have" to use auto-tune. It was just a tool that was used for aesthetic purposes. Cher is a contralto, and while that may be the lowest of the female vocal range she is not restricted to that range. Cher is known to sing anywhere within the range of a C3 and a F6. Obviously your comment was not intended to minimize her skill range. I personally favor this deep and emotional version of Believe. But the original version's use of auto-tune was not used to correct her pitch, it was to create a certain type of aesthetic because it was much a club song, and was a staple in nightlife everywhere.
