I bought the game this morning and I definitely see huge potential in it. To be honest, a video like this CPU vs CPU video doesn't do the game justice at all. It feels (and looks) much better when you're playing it and I think they're going in the right direction. What I see as a priority to improve are the flat shots, which don't feel powerful and give the feeling that the ball floats and lacks weight. They also need to correct the cut shots and the defensive shots. It also still lacks some fluidity in the movements, but with each update the gameplay improves in every way. I sincerely believe that we can have an excellent tennis game when it is finished.
Agree. The player models and venues look great. Also players have their unique serves and strokes. The rallies need to be cleaned up. Also the the defensive strokes look off. Needs to be worked on.
The main flaw I see in the game is that the rallies are always the same without any sense, without looking for winners in the free angle, it seems that the tennis players return the ball not to the free angle but to the feet of the rival
@@zappingolsport5012 I think the reason for that is because a lot of the gameplay is CPU v. CPU which makes the gameplay look a lot worse than it actually is where, like you said, a player doesn't attack the open court. I have seen a few clips where a player is playing on a high level vs. CPU and it looks much better. The player was a good player and his shots had good pace.
The game has a lot of potential but the animations need to be polished a little, graphically it is what is expected from this generation, it is quite impressive
and stroke animations are actually quite good and similar to their counterparts...as soon as they move though, everything goes down the drain..it looks amateurish

19:42 They need to fix who picks the balls off but DEFINITELY some potential!
Needs to be slowed down a bit, make the movement tighter, less of this 'push' shot that just lobs up. Has potential.

For me the speed is good

@@zappingolsport5012 exactly right, it makes it look awkward and most shots are played on the half-volley
wow this game has cpu vs cpu while topspin doesn't
yeah, gameplay is weird...movement is the same level as tennis elbow but the player models are nice and the stroke animations are spot on

I love the serve motion and facial graphics details of players in this game, much better than 2k25.

La cpu juega que da asco
The movement looks awful
