I will make a full skirted midi with a sleeveless top so I can wear a new thrifted blouse with it! Thanks so much for the inspiration! Carry on you sweet, sweet flower! ;-D

😂😂🙈❤️❤️❤️
Rachel Maksy greetings from WAY past midnight in Scotland 😌
My 19 year old daughter introduced me to your channel a few weeks ago: I have been watching while I sew and do things like peeling 15 lbs of potatoes! While I haven't learned anything about sewing from you, I have been greatly enjoying your lovely voice, your dog as a supporting actor, the retro music, your dive-in-anyway attitude, your humor, and the yes-I-magically-pulled-this-together-it's-so-amaze reveals. Today I realized I am learning so much about how to put together outfits! I bought some beautiful herringbone tweed flannel to design a dress for this winter, but I couldn't decide if I should do a maxi or midi or even if it should just be a skirt...after watching you swish so adorably in outfit after outfit, it all came together! I will make a full skirted midi with a sleeveless top so I can wear a new thrifted blouse with it! Thanks so much for the inspiration! Carry on you sweet, sweet flower! ;-D
Now I want merch mugs that say
*Sits down*
*Exasperated sigh*
*Sip of coffee* 😊
omg yeees
I rarely watch movies or tv.
But caught Enola. I teared up every time there was a Brother/s scene.
I never realized how much you look like Millie Bobby Brown until now
Love your hair styled like Enola’s the bangs are perfect and give such a sassy or almost child like charm to your face frame
Literally when I first saw the few photos from the movie I was like : Rachel is that you ?!
And this channel is just a love letter to tweed and brown
This movie deserved to be a season, but I feel like hiring some of those actors for a series would have gotten realy expensive realy fast :/
Enola holmes is actually a book series and it's super good so I highly recommend
I noticed during the end credits! I'll have to add it to my list!
What audience is it directed towards? The movie seemed like it was for like preteens, but me (30) and my mom enjoyed it, so I was wondering if plot wise its enjoyable for everyone, or it's in a pretty hard middle grade niche.
@@frostfang1 so I'm 15 and really enjoyed it, it's got a good plot and quite a few twist and turns. I really love the characters and the mystery of her mother(they go into a lot more detail in it). I hope this helps!
@@heidimarie2896 ah okay, so heres a question. Are you aware of Tamora Pierce and where would you put the series in a rating from uh idk Twilight to Tortall if you are familiar with her?
@@frostfang1 I mean I dont know tortall(I've gotten it recommended a lot so it's on my endless to-read list) but it is WAY better then twilight
The cream shirt + long white skirt + belt combo ended up looking SO good on you! And it ended up being very "everyday-friendly" for those of us who are super nervous to start wearing more historically/vintage-inspired outfits. I might steal that one! Thank you!
My school's theater department would go crazy over your closet...
(also I like the easter egg you included with the rearanging letters in your outfit numbers)
You often make these super informative video's with soooo much detail and thoughts and things. I'm quite blown away by how much you can put in one video. I feel like just 5 outfits would be already a lot. But it's awesome you always give us such a well of knowledge. Of things you have collected and now share with us. It's really amazing and makes me very happy and inspired!
I’ve been on the fence about whether or not I actually want to watch this... but the costumes are lovely (despite the inaccuracies lol)
Also I LOVE your Millie Bobby Brown costumes! You morph into her so well!
It's very cute! Thank you lovely ❤️
It’s a really good movie! I was iffy about it at first too, but I’m glad I did. It was pretty cute.
I was on the edge too but I did watch it and I warmed to it, the trailer didn’t give it justice atall
I didn’t like the movie much personally.
Dont expect much from it. It's just like a warm cup of tea. Not your favorite tea either. But it's just like a nice movie to chill to. Just light weight and amusing, and very aesthetic. And while it definjtely smacks you in the face with the mother daughter moral...well its uh...very timely, but outside of that it helps forget the world as it right now.
1) those shorts are ADORABLE on you!!
2) the white flowy outfit (#4) is my favourite. It looks so unique for your "usual" aesthetic!
3) number 9 is a CLOSE second favorite, though. I think 9 went together SO WELL. THAT TOP IS SO GOOD
Totally agree that the movie should've been a series! Loved the outfits you put together. This is kinda weird, but am I the only one that thought the sealing wax at 11:20 (intro for outfit #5) had a verrrry strange shape on the end? As usual, great job and love the outtakes!
Skinny ribbon ties. Ah yes, I remember you well. 😎 Your intro outfit was my go to work outfit for my office job in high school (1980). In winter, I added a sleeveless knitted sweater. The A-line skirts were comfortable but not the panty hose and low heel pumps. 🍄🍄
I just watched the movie! I fangirled over so many actors 😅
Special appreciation moment for the shadowmeld/prowl sound effect at the end ❤️👏🏻
