Thank you for showing the 8 finalists on The Voice USA, that's the only way I can follow it. I almost started dancing! They are all great singers, but I completely agree with Mr. Ryan about why Sofronio Vasquez won.
Regarding the question; did he even have a competition? In my opinion, sofronio is a runaway winner. The closest competition that he had was shye, due to her very distinctive voice, and also from team buble.
Sting was called in as mega mentor to Snoop Dog and Gwen’s team. He sang with Snoop Dog in the finale’s production with the coaches. Yeah, its kind of weird watching him standing there and did the guitar accompsniment to Sofronio and Jeremy. Shye also said in an interview that even in rehearsal, he didn’t say a word to her and Sidney. He just left when they’re done, not a mentor for me if that was his attitude. Seem untouchable. Dont know why he was chosen to be a mentor to these kids if he’s not saying anything giving advices about their performance. He could have just performed his number as a guest only without having to share the stage with these young artists like Tears for Fears band who performed also in the finale.
The first guy, Jeremy sometimes goes off pitch but is suited for musical theaters lacks the "grit" of modern music, even his moves are so old school. Sofronio is very versatile.
Every breath you take is a collab performance during the live semi-final round where sof sang elvis’ if i can dream. Defying gravity is the opening of the live finale where all contestants have 2 songs to perform-something upbeat, and something ballad. That’s why sofronio has unstoppable by sia and a million dreams from the greatest showman. If you really have thiese 2 songs in your next reaction, i suggest you line up who’s lovin you in your next reaction with the winner announcement, or do them all at once in your next episode 😁

Michael had many good talents some of them didn't make it as they were pitted against each other in 1 team alone. 2 of them was taken by other mentors and made it to the finals. Sofronio's rival is from MB team the girl in black jacket.
I agree re jeremy’s criticism. He got lost in some of his line. Obviously, he struggles with this kind of song. I almost feel like he’s sofronio’s back up vocal, sorry to say 😊 And if he would really go for musical theater in the future, he should master the technicality of this music genre-especially the annunciation and vocal technique to sounds him more audible during a live musical theatre performance nightly.
Honestly, when I heard Jeremy’s voice too even from his previous songs, I’m sorry but he’s really off the notes in most cases. People could clearly see the big difference of how they both sing. 🤔
