I love the tip to get a language exchange partner! I just started as an ESL teacher in a rural town in Thailand and am struggling to get by in day-to-day life on the tiny amount of Thai I know. There don't seem to be any centres for casual tutoring, I'll look on Facebook for an exchange partner!
