    Nice video bro ! But just a something to think about. I think selling out is actually a good thing and you can be prepared to still drop monthly. Think about Corteiz or supreme or even new brands like hellstar and gv gallery what sets their brand apart is exclusivity. To be in the conversation with those brands something has to set your brand apart and most of the time it’s the price or the exclusivity of the brand or both. Having a brand that’s too affordable and very accessible won’t put you in the same conversation as a Represent. Plus being more exclusive makes ppl have more of a sense of urgency to cop from your brand . I can’t think of any top streetwear brand that’s been in the game for 5-10 years that’s very affordable or not exclusive in some way. Consumers like the rush of trying to get an item they had to save up for or not knowing if they’ll be able to cop. That brand will stick way better than a brand they can just buy at any time they just won’t appreciate it as much

    • @DaveNash
      @DaveNash  2 месяца назад +3

      @@ClanMuRq the only streetwear brand that makes money is supreme
      there's barely any streetwear brands consistently making over $10m/ year
      its way more consistent to just have stock than to sell out
      building hellstar and corteiz is also not something you should try to do
      its way easier to build a maniere de voir or represent, build a proper business and dont rely on hype
      what youre saying is fundamentally sound, but there is no streetwear brand that sells outthat is a big businesses ($20m+/year)

      @packapunchstick 2 месяца назад

      @@DaveNash 100% i think the reason why supreme is able to do it is because they do both very very very well, not being sold out means people can constantly buy your clothes all year around, everyday of the week but when your clothes are sold out it gets people talking it makes your clothes feel more like grails because of the exclusivity and also just people generally like the feeling that comes with having something that they know other people don’t have and it can build cult like customers that will spend large sums of money on your clothes and will buy SOMETHING every time you drop, and supreme does both they open their shop twice a year spring/summer and fall/winter but when they do they don’t just do a single drop and then go silent for half a year they drop once a week so while they do sell out quite fast, in less than a weeks time they will have more clothes for you to buy so it’s not exactly hard to get supreme clothes but it’s difficult to get specific pieces because they sell out i hope this rant made sense im kinda just yapping at 4am but i hope this made sense😭😭
