The biggest problem Pep has is he allowed his side to become far too slow. City still dominate possession every match. But their patterns of play have become far too predictable. And they are constantly getting destroyed in transition when they inevitably lose possession. One of the reasons why Haaland never receives service is because playing him the ball requires playing higher risk passes. And those higher risk passes mean City risk losing possession. And literally every time City lose possession now opposing sides look like they can break and score on City. So it’s become a Catch 22 of dominating possession but the attack itself has become toothless and predictable. Because virtually no City player actually has the courage to play Haaland the ball when he’s created separation from defenders.

Regarding Man City's current form, the situation is more complex than just Guardiola's potential departure. While it's true they've had a challenging run (with just 1 win in their last 13 matches ), it's worth noting that this is their first real dip in form since Guardiola arrived in 2016. The team appears to be struggling with maintaining their usual intensity and precision, but this could be attributed to several factors: 1) The fatigue from last season's historic treble, 2) Key injuries to players like Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland, 3) The pressure of being defending champions.

When you look at City's squad its just terrible. How can the supposedly best club in the world have a bench without any confirmed players in most positions? I looked at the bench in the game vs Everton where you had to go for the win at 1-1 in the second half and you had Debruyne, Gundogan and only academy young players that have never made it to any A squad professionally. Not 1-2 confirmed great wingers or strikers, not even 1 to help and change the game. And that counting with the fact that you had bums like Rico Lewis playing as starters. Its ridiculous how badly they recruited last season where the biggest transfers were average players from Girona and Sporting.Other PL teams have money too and recruited much better players...

I really like listening to Robo, he’s a well spoken man
A reminder that odds are largely drawn based on the expectations of who's betting. Juventus having better odds than Atalanta, LOL, and I'd say Inter being lower than Man City is also serious LOL stuff right now.
If he leaves, he is a fraud. This is the challenge for the "best coach ever" and if he ducks and runs after singing a renewal, he is a fraud. If he stays and fixes it, maybe there's something to him being one of the best managers ever.
I strongly believe Man city won't have won 4 EPL titles in a row if they had kept most of their academy prospect with game time.
I cant believe pep n city are like My team ...😂😂😂
They really need a CDM to replace Rodri for realz and maybe another CB at least for Man City actually
And another striker who can play other positions actually
If I’m a player I’m not going to City not with all these clouds hanging over them and if I do I want get out clauses in my contract.
releasing young talent was a consequences that always happened to ChequeBook Genius
I cant see Pep leaving City at all. In fact, I believe he would rebuilt his team like the way Klopp did. After all, what Klopp can do, Pep can also do, maybe even a step further. So, I truly believe Pep would stay on probably for the next three seasons. The premier league cannot afford to lose another great manager after Klopp left.😅
Oh please enough of this *"It was mistake to let Palmer leave"* BS!
Pep wins trophies with his system..
He won the treble with "cOLd pALmEr" warming THE BENCH!!
I don't get this Palmer hype anyways.. He's just a good player benefiting from good players around him.. Pep will sort things out like he always do since Barça
Palmer would never have reached that level in City as long Pep is there. Pep's system does not allow that kind of freedom and creativity.
@@JPIQQG Yeah Barça and Bayern laughing at you right in the face..
These mythical narratives are getting old .. Pep's system allows individual brilliance more than any system.. It's just this crop of players he's got that has little to none of that.. His players at Barça and Bayern were individually brilliant
they need another striker asap to play alonside halaand, silva is not scoring, gundogan abandoned the club then comes back and cant score, doku cant finish he can only get inside the box
Ale will be shouting always without points and better debate
7:08 a fairly soft run???
Finish top in the group of death
Then got past the champions of holland, than Athleti, than PSG
that's not soft
Those kids werent gonna start for city
Everybody wants him to leave despite him constantly saying he won’t
I smell rotten fish coming from Guardiola`s locker room
That guy is really good Alchie very good guy
Wow mark they made profit in last two windows .. so they can spend wow city always care about spending 😂😂😂 , Chelsea sold academy players nd same pundits destroyed Chelsea nd when salah ,kdb and Lukaku after two year improved nd back in PL pundits destroyed Chelsea but can't utter negative word against city o
With all due respect but the best academy in the world without a doubt is La Masia
Manchester City will make a comeback and win the Premier League for the 5th time in a row 2020-2025 and humble everyone and overtake Liverpool, tomorrow City will destroy Leicester 3:0, who won, City won 3:0 Savinho will get his first goal of the season, Foden will score a cushion to double it and make it 2, Haaland will make it 3 and finally get another goal to make it 38 goals in 2024 2 behind the best striker in the world Lewandowski-Golden Boot 2024 Barcelona player Dominance at 36. City will be at 31 points tomorrow winding up Liverpool and will catch them lacking in the prem.
So many managers this szn need to change the way they play 😂😭
Lazy typer
Pep siged a new contract... they started a bad run.
Are these things connected?
To ensure a big payout
Pep's ego won't allow him to walk away
He literally said he will leave if guilty of 130
@ShaquilleOatmeal730 so he will concede his titles are null and void?
Why aren’t people mentioning xavi? I feel like he would be a great replacement for pep
Every dog has it's day.Liverpool,Utd,Arsenal,Chelsea,City now back to Liverpool. It's just a cycle nice to see teams fade gives everyone else a chance.
City have got the oldest team in the league that's the problem in my eyes it needed a rebuild in the summer but they ended up weakening the squad
If I was offered £100 in free Bets, I would NOT put a pound on City beating Liecster City away in their current form!
They don’t cost 500 mil that’s why city don’t want them. Remember it’s a oil money club
That's why sir Alex and Van Gaal were great , they would sacrificed result to give young players chance.
Players will be stupid to join right now Man City with current form
Not to mention the 115 charges. Done and dusted!
@FreezeFrame83 You look hurt dude.. Why commenting everywhere about no player is going to City? Insecure or what?
Pep is completely lost because he is no longer able to buy titles anymore
Why can't other people buy titles must be a skill issue
Pep will try to get players ready for end of season so can try win club World Cup and champs league then retire regardless if achieve or not
As normal with Man City/Pep, the talk is about spending even MORE money, and buying their way out of trouble. Have we normalised their way so much that it is accepted/normalised now! . How about Pep proves his worth and coaches the team that has won 4 titles in a row, on how to play football!
How can anyone take this ESPN seriously when they have Arsenal second favourite to win UCL? The only time Arsenal can be second favourite is if the play the final .... just embarrassing
IF HE GETS 3 OR 4 WINS SOME OF U WILL START PRAISING HIM😂😂😂
HES A GREAT COACH FULL STOP
Arsenal ranking higher than Bayern, Real and Inter in the championship league odds. By the way, England are firm favorites for WC 2026 and Euro 2028. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
As a Liverpool fan it's a shame to see City in such a state, but hey I hope Liverpool will be champions❤❤
At least we can still laugh at United together
@@Noe1502 W ⚓️ .
Why is it a shame. They won the last 4. As an Arsenal fan it's a shame to see Liverpool doing so well. This season was supposed to be ours lol
Shame? Long may it continue. This is a cheating cartel that turnt the league into farmers league.
Liverpool will be champions at this point they are best team in the PL
Kovacic is terrible 😅
I cant understand pundits ,and this things makes me hate football at time. Man City won everything in four years. In fact in 8 years they won a lot more than liverpool have managed in 30 yaers or Arsenal in in 20 years. Immeadiately the same Coach, has been criticized. If you look some games how can you blame the coach? Haaland missing penalties, Nunes decision
Everyone praising liverpool and Chelsea, but at the begining of the season everyone written off Chelsea and Liverpool as well. City will make signings, and starts win again. Forget those words, oh players cant go to City, bla bla. If they can go to Utd or Arsenal why not City.the problem, pundits thinks they know so much more than The Coaches
The man has always had a ready made team with an unlimited budget. Very overrated
It seems City need better players
Put Haaland on the left side. And Grealish in the middle.
Or become The Coach of the Dutch National Squad 😁😁😁
How is Humble gonna get goals if he can’t stand right in front and tap it in?
City players are arrogant they have a mindset of "who will start other than me"
How is Arsenal 2nd Favourites 😂😂😂
But but but Pep has his golden boi Foden. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sign Olomo would go a long way.
Yes, they must also sign Vini jr, Mbappe, Musiala, Rodrygo and Valverde. They will be strong
@Gorilla8 None of those are available, Olomo is.
@kadarabdullahi That's what you think. Olmo wouldn't play for a lower team
@@Gorilla8 That's why he would play for Manchester City.
@kadarabdullahi Perhaps you should check out Fabrizio Romano's latest. Only City and Manchester United enquired about Olmo bit they've never met Olmo's representatives. Barcelona will activate a sponsorship to register Olmo, Jonathan Tah and Pau Victor. Hope that clarifies it for you.
City in terrible form but their odds to win CL are more than Inter and Atalanta, both of the teams that are really playing well in the tournament. While the club that never won the tournament, sits above everyone else but Liverpool, because of EPL standings?!?. lmao, the bias and prejudice never changes I guess. I will give Dortmund, Atletico and Sporting better chances of winning than Arsenal.
Where can the God of Tiki Taka go to?
He's going to go to Spanish national team and win the world cup and euros. They've already shown that they can win the world cup so he will go there to add to his collection
He deserves 2 or more bad seasons. But Fraudiola can turn it over with 4 billion.
U suck‼️🙄
Arsenal always top of the list but can't go past quarters😂
