Ah yes... Sub-Saharan Africans are well known for being Supernatural Fire Spirits [Jinn] and Supernatural Lizard people who can regenerate limbs and reproduce asexually by horking up eggs [Namekians]....
@@R_CaineOkay... OG Piccolo horked up Nu Piccolo roughly around the point he blew up, thus avoiding the issue that if either Piccolo or Kami dies the other dies too. This does lead to Nu Piccolo crying did the first scene we see him associated with OG Piccolo being proverbial confetti. For those not familiar with the lore the idea there is Kami removed and sealed the evil part of him away [aka Piccolo], which is the center of a few major conflicts in Dragonball proper. Toriyama in turn eventually has them merge back together in what corresponds to the later part of the Z era.
I mean, Namekian lore drops during the Namek/Frieza Saga make them seem more like plant people than black. For the green skin, scientifically you could easily attribute that to chlorophyll, which plants use to convert sunlight into energy. This would explain why they then only need to drink water to live. And of course, the planting of Ajisa could be to help the atmospheric conditions of Namek. But yeah, beyond that, I got nothing that helps explain how Piccolo is a character for "black people", other than the fact that his skin color is different from the rest of the cast. Everything he did centered around race, gender and homosexuality. Welp sucks to be him.
So to review Mr. Popo is a Genie, which is a reference to the old Arabic concept of the Jinn which are Fire Spirits. With several very old documents associated with this depicting the Jinn as having dark skin. Properly speaking this is the equivalent of them accusing Orks of being Black People.
Wait, Orcs as Black people? I mean, if it was just World of Warcraft's Orcs I could kind of sort of see it, but most other franchises have never given me that feeling.
Mr Popo is an iconic character to the same degree as Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Bulma, Gohan, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chi-Chi, Trunks, Cell, Frieza, etc. I could go on. The point is everyone who loved watching Dragonball Z loved seeing Mr Popo in his scene! Nothing wrong with his design. The irony of the angle that SBI take is the design is based on what they perceive to be "offensive", which itself was based on a caricature of a real person, a caricature that was intended to propagate a racial stereotype - and the real person in question was actually a hero himself who tried to free a lot of the slaves in the deep south; I don't have the exact details, but I remember it being covered in a video by Gothix (who is also an awesome RUclipsr like yourself :) ). They may as well *try* to rebrand. Sweet Baby Inc. is finished.
Remember to drink water. Ok, sugar free is close enough. HAHAHA
When an entity like Sweet Baby Inc focuses on making sustainable changes to, in this case, the gaming industry. They shouldn't be surprised when it makes them unsustainable as well. But, they never learn.
She never prepares the topic and she skipped the part of the "ancient art" that is the real identity of Mr Popo.
If Disney made a Rock-n-Roll princess.....great, now I wanna see that movie.
A man once said. Everything that goes woke turns to 💩
I love your hair on this video! Cant believe noone is talking about it hahah, nice video btw
False indignation is repulsive and deceptive. What's the real agenda?
Me and my bro used to think the Namekians were supposed to be the black people in Dragon Ball.
Nice set up and presentation. The softly light minimalist background really drtaws focus to her.
"Lara Croft sweet baby Inc edition" AHHHHH!!!! MY EYES!!!! WHAT IS THAT ABOMINATION!?! God these people from SBI are not just evil but narcissists too, they just don't know when to quit are stop ruining beautiful female characters.
Oh my god, Melonie... wow! You look incredible! That hairstyle suits you perfectly.
...Off topic, I know, but I think this is my favorite of Melonie's looks. (I love your hair!)
Chris be like, "After I sparked off gamergate 2.0, I don't think nerds hate me nearly enough!"
That's the best hair yet! Looking LEGEND!!
i bet you their idea of "the best done black character in anime" is Piccolo.
As God of War… I decided to go to the depth of hell… to tame the hound of hell.
Omg I know who this guy is!!! I went to college with him. He was a comic illustrator for our newspaper. I am not surprised by this at all. We were both in school at the time BLM was kicking off and he was one of the first to jump right on to that bandwagon and join the marches. Everything he did centered around race, gender and homosexuality. Welp sucks to be him.
She's got it all!
Keep doing what you doing Melonie, love your work, the woke agendas must be squashed permanently!
The video is called 'Deceit', I think?
Regardless, I'm thankful for this video, so awesome to see your videos as always, Melonie Mac! Go Boom!
And God bless you always for everything you do!
PS Mr Popo is amazing! He can spar with a couple of Super Saiyan kids! Just saiyan. . . .!
