While I do agree that the FF in their name stands for fire fighting - as they're called Lösch-Doppler FW (with Feuerwehr being fire fighting) in German - FF is also hexadecimal for 255, hexadecimal being often used in IT related things, which might just be a nice reference to the douser dualies doing 25.5 damage
Mid line aggressive slayer sounds exactly right to Douser dualies. IMO, Douser dualies is the one dualies weapon that actually feels like the forward dodge roll is useful. What I like to do is use the natural long range of regular mode to scout out enemies and poke around for a hit, then dodge roll forward towards them to still keep me in range of them with the shorter range turret mode, but now with much more consistent RNG and faster fire rate to guarantee the kill.
As a heavy splatling one-trick, I've been playing dousers with the play style of a heavy, and it actually works. The hybrid midline/backline play style is a niche that very few weapons can fill, and I'm glad we have another weapon that can do it well. I look forward to adding this to my weapon pool.
Great guide! It’s fun stacking run speed and playing at a distance with this weapon. I do wish that the dodge rolls weren’t so committal and hope it gets a slight endlag reduction, but I still enjoy playing with these these waaaay more than the dualie squelchers
I’ll say it again; these are the funnest Dualies imo. It fits near perfectly with my playstyle of support and I can’t stress enough how much fun it is to capitalize off my mines. I’ve even gotten vital Wail kills in matches that saved my team from losing in clams, stopping a double power clam push.
Great video as always, but there's one thing worth mentioning The douser dualies' turret mode is not perfect in accuracy, but let's be honest, it's that close to _being_ perfect that it might as well be. The kit is what really sets the dousers back to being a midline support oriented weapon tho. Maybe we'll get another kit that's more oriented in offense that can turn this thing into a midline skirmisher that will rudely demand plenty of attention from the opposing team
Hey chase u may recognise me from being in ur streams anyways as a dapple main I can’t find a guide on them in ur channel for splatoon 3 again i am great with the dapples getting around 25-30 kills per game but i would like to know if their is any other techniques i could utilise to improve it more

idk if youve seen my gear guide, but main saver isnt worth running on this weapon, it needs other things. you can work without any main saver

Please watch the gear guide for the abilities I would recommend currently, i wouldnt run anything else
