@@megzarie Its one of the bad parts of modern day Yugioh, if your deck cannot play through an Ash Blossom or Effect Veiler, then its almost impossible to run it. @@KuganeGaming tell me about it. I was a lightsworn player (actually I was a twilight sworn player even before the name became an archetype) and I would play some chaos cards and dark cards and mill and recycle and play around whatever lady luck provided in my recycling. This made me incredibly unable to predict endgame boards and play how the new tier 1 decks played. I did pick up a despia and branded and even swordswoul deck to play them so that I can learn their weaknesses. A lot of times I would rage before that they were hard to beat but I realized later that sometimes there's this crucial moment or card that you can punish on in their combo when they go for core combos or overextend and it would be very bad for them to bounce back from it especially if you don't feed their graveyard or keep them bricked after. Why? Because their entire combo is almost always the same, down the the T. So I found myself sometimes playing both the critical conbos of known cards but is also splice in some unknowns like metalfoes fusion draw or grass is greener or lightsworn tuner lady that's level 3 (forgot her name), other archetypes in same deck even going above the usual 40 card combo. It made my combos less consistent, 100%, and I would brick or start slow more often with those cards than the core "same combo" cards. However it made it also easier for me to let luck draw me an out or extend with backup plans from the grave or just straight up become unpredictable for the enemy so they can't tell if the same critical events are the same events they want to hit with disruptions or not. So while I became inconsistent, I did find myself getting disrupted less frequently to brickable states. The reason I'm telling you this story is because tearlaments, to me, plays right into my lightsworns and graveyard RNG milling mentality. And while many hate them because they are tier 0 now (honestly I blame ishizu cards more than anything) then at least play with the deck knowing that it got his by one of the biggest ban lists ever, and play to have fun and play chaotically my dude or dudette. Don't play the same combos that become redundant and boring and bring some new flavor even if it's less consistent or doesn't symergise 100%. Like throw in some cyber dragons in there and go for a metallic graveyard deck (I called it a scrapyard deck before... Again. Before Konami copyrighted that into am archetype again lol). Or play it with some silly zombies or lightsworns or whacky other decks. Have fun. Because they all cried about branded despia and swordsoul and DPE Destiny phoenix enforcer (I did at first too} until they played those cards and bricked themselves too and found how to play around them. I've faced LabrynthXTearlaments decks multiple times before and it was a pain in the ass. I'm halfway done with my copy of the Tearlaments main deck based off of the MD website and I hope to seek revenge on those who use those kinds of META decks to crush them
Awesome video, im still relatively new to YuGiOh adn your explanations are super easy to follow! Question, what is your opinion on pairing this with the new Tistina cards that just came out with the Duelist Nexus set?
Thank you! I am out of the TCG a bit at the moment, so haven't really had the chance to look into the new support. Mostly focused on whatever is being released on Master Duel right now. From some quick glances I think it may revive Tearlaments a bit in the TCG, though. No idea if it'll be meta relevant enough.
You could take time to understand how to play them in 7 minutes, which is fine and takes skill. Or you could play master duel, copy and paste your deck, send all your cards to the graveyard and then say yes to all graveyard effects and win. Good video by the way, this deck just irritates me irrationally
These things are broken as long as they are kept in the graveyard. All I can think of would be necrovalley prevent movement out of graveyard and dd monsters. Out of play could slow them down...maybe. Maxx c as well.
Its also good that they can only fusion 3 times per turn (most of the time), so some well timed GY hate does the trick. I covered some counters in the new video =)
Can't tell if this is satire or not, but it's easily the most concise explanation of how the archetype works. Though I feel like there should be an accompanying white 3-ring binder and incredibly shitty coffee in a styrofoam cup that you need to procure before you can watch this.
That’s quite a lot of things! I mean, you probably could but it may be better to focus on one or two things when deckbuilding, that is, if you plan to go for competitive builds 😊

Don't forget Redoer. If Scheiren or Reino are under it, they can trigger when dethatched because Redoer detaches for effect and not cost.
Love it! :)
Amazing video love your voice love the explanations and examples of end boards earned a sub
Thank you! Really appreciated!^^
neat time to start prepping for t0
I still don’t know how to feel about all of them being at 2. Going to be a sick format, lol.
@@KuganeGaming They didn't take notes from TCG and OCG and either limit them all to one, or semi limit and ban Kitkallos. T0 will be a living nightmare for the next few weeks.
@@jcm_dreb0 no they did, you just need to realize they are a business and need to sell first before they limit and ban, not sure how that's hard to understand for people.
Great video, perfect timing to get ready for the gates of hell opening on master duel
Indeed! Time to bring the crows and barriers!
Perfect video! Thank you.
Thank you for watching! I hope to see you around in the next video! =]
Actually, extremely useful video. Thank you very much.
Glad it was helpful!
Nice video kugane! easy to understand
Thank you! ^^ I think this is the style I’ll keep using going forward.
great explanation. looking forward for the combo guide
Thank you! Many more to come!^^
just built this and been very the AI in solo mode to get a feel of what the cards do but was really useful
Glad to hear so! I'm working on a combo guide right now, should be on the channel tomorrow or so :)
Be watching it when drops
Correction Rulkallos does not have any protection against destruction effect, it only protect aqua monster from being destroy by battle.
Thank you for the feedback! =]
Bro out here with the ai voice. It's a soothing one though. I honestly don't find the deck that hard to run. Guess I've just gotten used to decks that let you play Solitaire while your opponent watches. I tried it out for the first time the other day and won on my first try.
Thank you! :) And indeed, not super happy with the AI voices, but there has been neverending construction work near our appartment, it has made recording audio clips an absolute nightmare, so AI it is! XD
@@KuganeGaming Totally understandable.
im new to MD and this is the kind of guide i want to see.
Many more to come! They take a while to make, but planning to cover all top decks + some fan picks.
For someone talking about how the end is coming for 90% of decks, you have a very calming voice, which makes it worse.
When death stares at you, smile.
thank you so much for this informative video!
I've faced LabrynthXTearlaments decks multiple times before and it was a pain in the ass. I'm halfway done with my copy of the Tearlaments main deck based off of the MD website and I hope to seek revenge on those who use those kinds of META decks to crush them
Loved the video, first time on the channel, subscribed!!
Thank you! =] Many more guides to come!^^
Thank you for explaining the deck, i think they only thing you didn't mention was super poly
Great point! Putting it in the follow-up video.
bookmarking the video for future reference, thanks!
Glad it helped! Thank you for joining^^
great guide and video!! it was very helpful :D
Thank you so much! Any deck you'd like to see next?^^
This video was fantastic.
Thank you!^^
Very good video!
Thank you so much!^^
After Heroes and Dinos finally an other deck I want to really master with the Ishizu engine in it
Its going to be a clickfeast, thats for sure. Better watch out for that timer! 😅
Retaliating "C"? Sneaky "C"? Non-Fusion area? Contact "C"? Necroface? Vanity's Ruler?
DD Crow, D Barrier as well :P
Nice and very clear, where we can get the cards list of this deck ? (and one more suscriber)
I’ll look into doing periodic deck techs for each top deck once I am done covering the big 6 ^^. That way videos stay relevant.
Combo guide incoming yesss
Very clear. Love it
Thank you!^^
Looks like you got way more than 100 likes 🎉 so I’ll be looking forward to that combo video lol
Oh yes! And about 100x faster then I expected too xD, I have started working on gathering replay videos to showcase the combos.
Nice video. Very informative.
Thank you!^^
the game name is Yu-Gi-oh
but Konami made it Meta-oh
R.i.p Kazuki Takahashi the game died after you passed away .
100 likes?! Look at you now! Great video thank you for such a clear to the point explanation!!
Yes, lol, now to work on that combo guide! xD
Very well explained
Thank you!^^
You could take time to understand how to play them in 7 minutes, which is fine and takes skill. Or you could play master duel, copy and paste your deck, send all your cards to the graveyard and then say yes to all graveyard effects and win. Good video by the way, this deck just irritates me irrationally
Heh, thats fair, I'm just the messenger here :P, just going by what people request!^^
Runnick spright:
Finally a worthy opponent ❤
Indeed! XD
This is so informative tysm! Are they still viable at all after the ban nerfs??
The deck is still performing fine AFAIK, missing Instant Fusion was bad, but the deck didn’t need it.
These things are broken as long as they are kept in the graveyard. All I can think of would be necrovalley prevent movement out of graveyard and dd monsters. Out of play could slow them down...maybe. Maxx c as well.
Ignore Maxx c idea, that deck could deck you out if done right.
Its also good that they can only fusion 3 times per turn (most of the time), so some well timed GY hate does the trick. I covered some counters in the new video =)
Time to put 3 Dimension Barrier to my Labryinth deck.
That and a playset of DD Crow.
Really nice. Next can you make a tutorial on how to play this game without falling asleep during the opponent's turn?
All I can advice is to try and enjoy the process - even your opponent's^^;. Some decks really push it too far, though.
Can't tell if this is satire or not, but it's easily the most concise explanation of how the archetype works. Though I feel like there should be an accompanying white 3-ring binder and incredibly shitty coffee in a styrofoam cup that you need to procure before you can watch this.
I have no idea what I even read. Is it positive? Is it negative? Nobody knows except the dude with his cat.
I feel like this archtype would work well with king of the skull servant which focuses on getting whights into the grave
I think you could make it a 60 card deck and play Grass to turbo mill.
A very well explained .... now I can make anti-tearlaments deck and crush this deck once and for all
Just swap in some DD crows and you are golden! ^^
Hey amazing video can I do a winged dragon of Ra tearlemnts with God slime what you think even if not legal would it work
That’s quite a lot of things! I mean, you probably could but it may be better to focus on one or two things when deckbuilding, that is, if you plan to go for competitive builds 😊
Very off topic, but what program did you use for the ai voice? It sounds so real and fluid.
Great explanation :)
Idk about 2 dragostapelia
But besides that this is all really good surface level info for the players joining the fray.
Thank you!^^
