Hi, I thought I would send my message in Spanish to applaud your excellent spoken English . Here goes.... Por favor, haz más vídeos. Me encanta tu voz tranquila y tu hermoso acento español. ¡No pares! Hi Chris, what can I say, I’m touch by your message, and in perfect Spanish! I want you to know it really encourage me to continue working in this little project. Receive messages like yours is a very satisfying experience! By the way, yes, this camera is unique, the ccd sensor and the way it combine analog and digital experience makes it one of he’s kind. I fell very fortunate for having one. And it was the inspiration for the channel.
Thanks 😊 If I have to choose only one lens, the most versatile is the Voigtlander Norton 38. From portrait to whatever you need to do It can handle. The Elmarit 28 is perfect too, design for the m8, but is a 2.8 aperture. Not big problem, but you need light.
Hi Tanel. Not really. But if I have to choose one, the most versatile is the Voigtlander Nokton 35mm. You can do everything with it, from portrait to landscape. Is small, light and well build.
hugo hello well my leica m8 came in and i must say comming from shooting a fuji XE2 all auto focus, and auto settings, this is a learing curv.. most of my phots are soft and not sharp, its not my focus its my EV, and ISO trying to get them so my photos come out good i wonder did you have the same proplem at first, the buyer did offer me a leica Q if i was not happy and gave me untill Jan 7 to decide. please any suggestions would help thks john
Hi John, sorry for the delay in my response, I was busy with many things. Focusing manually requires practice. There are amplifiers you can attach to the viewfinder to make it easy. In my case, am use to, and usually don't have problems to nail the focus. Also depends on the lens and aperture. At f1.4 o 2.0 is more challenging that at f 4 or 4.6 for example. I recommend you to practice, and use some basic tricks, like have the focus always ready at infinite, so you only need to move the tab to one side. I hope I come on time and the advices are useful. Enjoy your camera!
@@myleicam8546 hugo thank you again, for your support, i did get a lot more comfortable with the rangefinder. i am using a voightlander 40mm 1.4 and while i like the lens rendering i want to get a zeiss 28mm 2.8 or the 35 mm 2.8,what . also i enjoy your videos as do others, hope one time you put a video of your finished photos ,thanks again john
Beautiful photographs that do indeed carry on in the Leica analog tradition from a digital camera.
I agree with you. And the more the time pass, the more special it becomes. Thanks for your comment.
