    Crying just watching that!!!!
Thank you for uploading this! I was at this show in Paris and I will never forget that momentJ Dilla, Frank n Dank, Phat Kat. That was History! It was long time ago but the full story of this moment was crazy.
In France we are a pretty tough crowd, especially at that time. Where we felt like American artists wasn't giving there best when they was coming in Europe.
    And sometimes was pretty disrespectful.
That wasn't the case for J Dilla, but unfortunately it seems that the first time he performed in France the crowd felt disrespected because most of the people at the time didn't know he was first a Beat Maker and a DJ, they was all expecting him to rap. That result that the crowd replied pretty badly to that performance.
That's why I guess he decided to come again despite his bad condition to perform and teach us about who he is.
And instead of bringing him straight from back stage, they decided to make him cross the crowd with his mom, medical care assistant, and security staff. At that moment nobody knew he was sick (I wasn't aware). So, we was a bit surprised at first and didn't know what to expect really. But after a little silent moment the crowd spontaneously call his name. And the rest is history.
After the full show me and my friends was still shocked of what just happen in that room. We couldn't get back home straight after to much energy.
We decided to hang out on the side outside next to the venue and we was chilling out commenting the full show.
After a moment J Dilla (in Wheelchair and fully covered), his mom and the medical care assistant took the street in front of us and we couldn't retain ourself to show our gratitude and from a distance we said "thanks for everything" to him (with our poor english). From his back he raised his arm few second to salute us and kept going in this little street heading to his hotel I guess.
We was astonish to just imagine that some people my cross him without knowing who he was.
After that Frank n Dank got out salut us warmly, with our broken english we commented the show for few minutes with them.
And after cooling down we was able to separate an make a move back home.
Big up and big RESPECT! To the organiser and his team HipHop Resistance!
I don't know if he still doing things but all there events was unique and so well organised!

Let's be honest, after the death of this guy, hip-hop began to storm, the genre itself began to take on a more soulless form, and famous beatmakers and rappers began to lose their fire.
We never waited for a joint album with MF Doom, it would be something incredible. Maybe the AI will someday give us such a hello from the impossible, or maybe it will be shit, who knows who knows
