"Craziest victory party?"
"Must have been a while ago." For that response alone, he deserves another one.
I really wanna see Seb on the podium man.
I wanna see Alonso and Seb win
If we saw a podium of alonso, seb and Lewis that would be a very nostalgic podium. Unfortunately now none of them are in cars that are competing unless your name is George Russell apparently
@@RayOLight Both Seb and Alonso were on the podium last season so even though it's quite hard to have the 3 at the same time, it's not totally impossible.
@@RayOLight Russell be getting free podiums thanks to Ferrari's DNFs
My only gripe is why is this video only 7:10 long. I would love to listen to Seb chatting just about anything for hours.
Same
ruclips.net/video/vjms9j5R4fc/видео.html We germans have that kind of video and its great!
I cuddle him
If you'd like a listen, Seb did a podcast with F1 called Beyond The Grid. I absolutely loved it, he talked about f1, sustainability and his private life, absolutely worth checking out!
@@thomaskerschbaumer8142 you cant see me but he and i were cuddling during the podcast
Seb is so naturally funny, and comes across as such a genuine person with a warm and welcoming spirit . Love the man 💛
Hm
@@Joshuakennedy123 what a response dude ... amazing input
Ask Mark Weber if Seb is a funny guy.
@@ygaudreault the truth is if Weber actually win that race, he would forever think of that win in shame! no true racer want to gift a win! NOPE
Yooooo I used to watch your career modes
"When will Seb retire?"
*The question has answered*
Hahaha, Seb's answer on Multi-21 is brilliant. Good job, Matt and WTF1!
Villain Seb is still somewhere down there
Mark Webber didn't like that
@@RamsesArmentaTheRamses it's not villain, he's a racing driver and he was there to race
@@KingofFray If you ask Webber now, team order or not, I don't think he will want a GIFT WIN under his name!! it will be a win of shame
@@MDE_never_dies Seb save Mark from having to carry this gift win attach to his career. Would you want this asterisk attach to your win forever? For real
Loved Seb since he started in F1… man who got villainised by the British media and booed on every podium because he did such a great job of driving the car.
Greatest Prime of any driver… he would have wiped any driver in history in 2013 in the same car imo.
I’m just glad his honest, funny and genuine personality has come out for everyone to see.
Wishing you all the best Seb… don’t retire yet, you have a lot left to give 💚
The rb7 was probably a better car overall than the rb9 but Seb just drove the shit out of that 2013 car.
Am I the only one thinking that 2018 seb is back after bakus performance in the 3rd worst car?
@@VAR1607 It's close, I mean he is doing great now, compared to earlier!
@@VAR1607 Definitely not out of the realm of possibility. Just look at his performance compared to Stroll this season.
Hamilton 2018,Schumacher 2002,senna 1991,alonso 2012 would all beat vettel 2013
Honestly, as a fellow German, it's so wholesome that he finally gets the recognition that he deserves. In Germany, we are generally very critical with sport stars, especially when they are not "the first ones". That's why Schumacher is still highly regarded, while Seb is just Seb. Especially nowadays with his new commitments, the tabloids like to put him into the mud. "He's a racing driver, he has no right to say anything about climate change etc." To see how you also give him a platform where he can casually be himself is just awesome. Thx for this great interview 💚
Your comment pretty much describes how the British tabloid press treat Lewis Hamilton. The similarities are interesting.
@@alanthomson8417 Yep, same situation here in Brazil, You are either Senna or you are a nobody. You'll have your 15 minutes of fame with any wins, but if you are not winning, then you are not good enough and should retire so another Brazilian can try to be the next Senna.
I find it funny because the general though is that this only happens here in Brazil. Clearly that's not the case.
@@alexandreungaro6343 really interesting because I thought it was mainly an issue with British tabloids. Seems to be an issue worldwide then!
@@Hunter-ww9rd In the end Brits and Germans are pretty similar, if we want it or not :D
It is important that he talks about climate change. If he retired from racing and then talked about climate change then nobody would take him seriously. The call for action has to come from inside the sport. Nothing changes just by sitting on the outside.
Some of the greatest positive changes in F1 have happened because of drivers who were hated for speaking out at the time.
"Yeah.. you're just playing Pong" .
This has been THE best interview i've seen in a while. Awesome content and can't wait for the Seb RUclips channel
If you want decent interviews these days then content like this is where you find them. C4 and Sky are terrible at doing interviews.
Just watch any Seb interview, all of them are gold. The man's is so entertaining and nice.
Vettel’s very well media trained, never put the sponsor’s bottle down and took some sips during the interview. All whilst being funny, interesting and genuine. You just can’t not love the guy. Hope he repeats his win at Canada again on Sunday…
Ah yes, I hadn't noticed. Well spotted, sir!
Maybe he just wanted a drink?
I've noticed that too and I would do the same. That his is role offside the sport - he has to represent the sponsors in a good way.
PS: I love beer, but... Peroni? I dont't know, never had one. Maybe when it's hot (and when it's free)...
he blocked the logo the entire time, you’re reading into something that isn’t there to seem smart
What I love about Matt is that you can see his internal freak outs when he speaks to Seb. Same as what we all would be like. Made the entire video so relatable.
After Seb announced his retirement this makes me more heartbroken than ever, Hope for a great race for him in Abu Dhabi
He did❤
Seb strikes me as a genuinely nice dude.
I still can't get over what Matt and Tom are doing with this channel. I remember xMattyG and his hilarious screamy, sweary outbursts during online races with Ben and Aarava. Congratulations on all of your success fellas. 👍🏁

Matt is a big boy now
In 2007 for a birthday gift my father took me to see my first F1 race at Indy. He got us the pit passes and everything. A good bit before a practice session I was in the paddock & I saw a driver I didn't recognize & unlike almost every other driver he wasn't swamped by fans & reporters so I approached him, introduced myself & we started talking about how we like to modify our cars. I remember specifically that he said modifying for speed isn't nearly as important as modifying for responsiveness and this always stuck with me. Little did I know he was making his F1 debut for BMW Sauber & would go on to dominate with Red Bull. I am of course talking about Seb. He was so nice & down to earth & so easy to talk to I became a fan right then & there. I was lucky enough to be able to go to the first GP at Circuit of The Americas & I was extremely surprised that he remembered me. No matter what, Seb is my all time favorite F1 driver. Class act.
Amazing mate
@@knack3041 Thanks. While I had been an F1 fan since the age of 5 in '92 I had never really supported a single driver before. I look back on his dominant years with RBR with such fondness. Great memories 👍
That’s awesome! He probably remembered you as being one of the first people to approach him when he made his F1 debut.
That's awesome! You were lucky enough to experience what most fans dream of!
@@MrEgofreak Thanks man. It is one of my fondest memories & actually had an impact on my life. At the time I was doing a lot of martial arts training, Taekwondo & Savate mostly, which I had been doing since childhood & I had to decide whether to pursue it as a career or start taking car & engine building more seriously than just a dedicated hobby. It was this meeting with someone the same age as me (both Seb & I were born in '87) driving in F1 & still being a cool humble person made me dial the training way back & now I have a thriving business specializing in rotary engines, RWD & AWD Japanese performance vehicle builds and tuning. Of course there were other factors than that but it was definitely a part of it.
No matter how matured he’s gotten in these last 5-6 years, him saying that he wouldn’t change the multi 21 incident still means there is still that competitive spirit left in him. Would like to see him challenge for another title in a car that suits his driving style
I can't believe the funny f1 career mode youtuber I used to watch is now casually sat next to Vettel. What a path honestly
Who’s here after seb announced his retirement 😭
We need to protect Seb at any cost. This man is such a gem.
Yeah but if he stops delivering results then he should be replaced.
he is doing pretty good for the car he has
@@jacobmassey3897 if any driver stops delivering they should get replaced
@@varunculas8236 well yeah 👏
I think we need to keep him off of social media as much as we want him on it. Turns people cynical.
I could watch a 40 hour video of this and not get bored of it!! Seb is just an absolute legend he's so funny aswell!
Highlights of the video: 0:00 --> 7:10. Thanks Matt!
I feel when Seb speaks out on causes, he's the only guy I trust because he speaks out against the FIA and the system as much. Super genuine and my favorite driver to watch of all time.
When they say German's don't have a sense of humour, I'm like have you seen F1's Vettel, he can't stop being funny even if he tried and very thoughtful too.
Well he has spent most of his f1 days in the uk so that’s 15 years pretty much half his life.
its just a silly stereotype its not actually true. Germans also don't all wear lederhosen and dance to old marching songs, in fact 99.99999% dont't. Lol
Love this. Love Seb ❤. Watching him live winning 🏆 4th title at Indian Grand Prix followed by donuts 🍩 was spectacular. His bow down to RedBull car after victory will be the photo that will be highlighted in F1 history books forever. Lesson for every driver on grid to respect the car and team behind it for all the hard work and effort.
Yeah while brundle talks like hes on a funeral on live tv after seb won the title.
that photo is one of the coldest f1 picture in the history🥶🥶
The most intelligent n good human on the grid.... SEB ❤️❤️
He remembers each f1 drivers’ title winner by year , no one else came close !!!
Two of the many qualities that make Seb the fan favorite.
4:22 We love Inspector Seb
Man! Watching this after his Instagram Reel brings back tears. 😭😭 Started watching when Indian GP was announced, have been following him since then. Love Seb from India ❤❤❤
Me seeing the when will he retire question when he just announced he will retire 😭😭
Love how he was on it every Sunday but won 9 in a row at the end of 2013, living his best life
With the best car which certainly helped. Look how hacked off he was in 2014 😆
@@jacobmassey3897 Like Hamilton has had a car that's been much faster then the rest for the past 8 years? Doesn't take away from the driver he is. Or Schumacher with the F2004. Such a weak argument
@@saqib_999 or Senna 1988, 89, 91

Won't be the same without him
He's actually the reason I got meself into f1 in 2013
Really cool that you got the chance to do this interview. Seb is a great on screen personality with a fantastic natural humor.
Loved it !! Loved that he stayed true to his actions about multi21 "incident" and i'd like if more drivers were to do that.
And also, godam it FIA, let inspector Seb do his job! (touching cars) xD
FIA hate Germans. Always have, always will.
I laughed so hard hearing Seb say “I’d just be happy to be able to touch the cars” when asked about changing rules 🤣
I know Aston Martin are hardly blowing any skirts up with their car so far this year, but after a slightly stuttering start, Seb Just seems to be enjoying himself again - on and off the track. It’s good to see.
It's been a pleasure watching him come back to life after how Ferrari treated him. I was worried with Otmar Szafnauer leaving to go to Alpine that Seb would check out, but his results after Australia have been really good.
Give This Man His Roses While He's Still Around...Protect Him At All Cost!!! A Voice, A Leader, A Formula One Driver...Gotta Love Seb!!!
The question on the thumbnail aged very well
5:16 he MAY have decided now
If there is a person out of F1 i wanna talk to it's definitely Sep, such an inspiring and humble person but at the same time strong about his believes an opinions.
What an incredible intelligent gentleman Sebastian is. What a chap.
I am honest. That is the best video I have seen over the past months. The harmony between Matt and Seb was really nice to watch. Really thank you WTF1!
yes:)
I can’t believe he had the confidence to ask about Multi 21
I can't believe Seb had the confidence to state he would do it all over again actually :D
When Seb was answering "the races at the end of the 2013 season" I would have expected Matt to come back with "MULTI21 Seb, MULTI21".
But of course he did not as he still had that question card...
Seb has said he will retire at the end of 2022, We will miss you
I've been following F1 for nearly a year and Seb is by far and away my favourite on the grid. I wish I was following back during his RB days but even in the AM I love watching him!
He was dominating everyone, watch his pole laps
@@ransomsdp Seb and that Rb was nutty.

This interview hits different now...
Welp the thumbnail's prophecy came true
super relaxed, constantly smiling, humble, no social media. We can all learn a lot from Seb.
I could watch this endlessly. I love to see Seb talking about things. Golden persona.
Let's goo Matt. Take that smirk of you're face!!😂😂
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED this! MY favorite was the last answer!! I was literally celebrating! Thank you - Matt and Seb - for your time.
Seb is so damn chill that someone should make sure he doesn’t get hypothermia.
"you just play pong" lmfao
Seeing Seb smile made my whole day 😊
Perfect thumbnail 😂
Great video! Nice choice of questions, and the footage is so clear, it feels like its the most HD I've ever seen Seb!
If Seb starts a RUclips account we have Matt to thank. Seriously though it would be a great platform for his advocacies
It would! I think he would be an excellent podcaster too
What.A.Legend! Thanks to WTF1 for always putting together good content.
Evidently, Sebastian Vettel has not lost his sense of humor and great personality. Just one of the reasons why he has fans all across the world. Sure we would love to see him challenge for titles but just being on the grid is good enough. Keep up the good work!
5:20 holy sh*t Matt!!!!! You made him retire 😢😳
watching this now makes me cry
Well done! this was great! I loved the "I would like to be able to touch the cars again" hehe
Seb is going to W…T….F…..1!!!!
That was not long enough.
Seb giving us kimi answers.. what a legend.
I love this man so much, love the sense of humor he has, and I would love to hear him for much more than seven minutes, hope for more points and even a podium 💚💚💚💚💚
Such a humble soul
Great content!!! I'm excited for Matt. What a roller coaster ride this must all be. I could not imagine the feeling of drinking a beer and having a chat with Seb.
When Seb does finally retire the broadcast team should pick him up as fast as possible. He could absolutely be a voice for the broadcasts for years to come.
Oh yes please! But not in German, he's much funnier in English.
I doubt he'd do it tho.
I can see once he leaves, we won't see too much of him.
we need an extended cut!
This was an awesome interview!
This was great. Good questions. Not pushing any answer. Just chatting and being honest and chill. Keep it up!
That went by way too quick
Love the Multi21 answer 😂😂
This is really good, loved it
Could listen to this man speak for hours…just the best out there
Couldnt agree more. Was sat with a big smile on my face during the whole thing, such a great guy
thank you for the interview!
Been waiting all week!
Man, you can tell what Formula 1 means to Sebastian. I don't think he'd still bother with it if he didn't care about it the way he does. I'm really glad he's the passionate and dedicated guy he is. That's how I strive to be too, in my own way of life. Fantastic video. Really great to watch.
Also, I'm glad he wouldn't do anything different if he relived Multi 21 again, I said at the time that he did the right thing in racing for the win and I still think that now.
Congratz to 1M subs!
Thanks for this, been missing interviews with Seb alot
I really hope seb does actually do some type of social media when he’s done. I wouldn’t blame him if he decided to disappear like Kimi (temporarily) but he’s got such a genuine personality
BUT HERE COMES SEBASTIAN VETTEL on WTF1 😍
Wish this hadn't ended .The last question was too good :) . What a chilled out person he is .
Great stuff!
We want more! We want more!
That thumbnail didn’t age well at all 😖
When I first started watching F1 and Seb was struggling at Ferrari, I didn't get why everyone was so obsessed with Seb. Getting to know his personality over the years, he's become one of my favorite drivers.
i want an uncut version of this more than anything :D
OMG!
This is fantastic.
I loved this Interview.
Keep them coming Matt.
He’s made it in life
5:34 NOOO MATT, welp this aged like milk
I can listen to this man for hours.... I love listening to him. Thank you for this beautiful interview.
Thanks for doing this! Lovely ❤️
Seb is just this ruthless driver who's also very factual (I was faster, I passed him, I won) without ever putting other drivers down to big up himself and his accomplishments. He's so sure of what he achieved he doesn't come across as cocky, just sure of himself, honest and he lives the life he wants. Love the man and proud to call him my idol since day one. Interview's too short, tho.
