And yeah, I was suppose to do Line 2 with TR Announcements before this, but since a lot of you guys were way too impatient and wanted this video at the first place, I decided to deal with the Line 2 TR video later on.
It probably will sound like this. This is the heather voice used on the streetcar and subway system. I doubt they'll go for a new voice or use the susan voice used on the buses.
The TTC needs to change the announcements. It doesn’t need to repeat the station’s name 4 times. Twice is good enough. Instead, apply other useful information to the announcements that passengers can get a better scope of the next and present stop. Good examples to look at are the London Underground and the NYC Subway announcements. It’s very clear, direct and informative.
@@alix8632 thats just not necessary at all. French isnt that widely spoken in Toronto and Montréal Metro does have English announcements why does Toronto need to do that? All This does is get people more confused and them having to find help for simple answers that could have been announced in the automatic announcements. But then again this is Toronto they do things weird!

You might be right, but what you're seeing here is the Line 5 announcements but it uses the TR announcements and voice. Basically the trains that are on Line 1 and Line 4. Everything here is being theorized.

I hope the crosstown will bring new life and make the area, its looking like eglinton will be the next bloor west. Crosstown reminds me of what Vancouver is doing with their new Broadway subway project giving people in Vancouver's greektown and westboradway access to the train. I know eglinton will keep its character but just elevate its density once again.

The robot voice always messes things up. These pronunciation faults are kinda silly but kinda accurate too: -"ci-DAHR-vull" hurts my brain. -If it got it right on line 1, then how the heck does it mess up "e-GLIN-ton"? -"Mount Ple-la-sant" -"sunnybr-oo-k park"? I know how it's spelled, obviously, but isn't it pronounced like this: "sunnybrøk"? -"Hakimi Leblovic" lol -Why is the "mount" in Birchmount slo-mo?
@@ttckid23 We're making theories of what might the LRT announcements sound like here. But what you said might also be possible. Since these are just theories, there is no right or wrong answer. It's just that we don't know yet.
For some clear explanation, this isn't really a big mistake as this video was created during the time when the SRT was still running. I would have removed the Line 3 SRT transfer if I want to make an updated version, or if this video was created after the derailment. Hope that clears things out.

The repeats are because you might not hear it over the general noise of commuters and train noises. It's harmless so why not have them there?

Like the VMC. It takes 2 seconds to say the name itself without the station part in it.
Both Cedarvale and Sunnybrook Park stations need some serious repronouciation with the oral announcements.

We're not 100% yet, but it is possible that the LRTs might use the same voice as the ones used in the TR trains.
