[4K] Black River & Western: Steam Freight Special With #60

On Saturday, April 15th, a special photo event organized by the Black River Railroad Historical Trust took place at the Black River & Western Railroad between Ringoes and Flemington, NJ, featuring ALCO-built 2-8-0 Consolidation #60. One of the finest operating steam locomotives on the east coast will be undergoing a federally-mandated 1,472 day inspection likely in the coming months, and the Trust members hosted one of the most memorable photo charters we have encountered. Despite delays with rain, the crew and all other members put on quite a show that created stunning scenes for us to enjoy. Some of the locations featured include the ex-CNJ station in Flemington, various rolling farm fields, a night-time shoot at Copper Hill Trestle, yard scenes in Ringoes, and much more! A big thank you goes out to all of the Trust members for organizing this event!
