National Train Day 2013 on the Black River and Western Railroad

National Train day is a day across the United States where railroads and railroading is celebrated, and the Black River and Western Railroad in Ringoes, NJ certainly had quite a celebration! In addition to a consist of equipment on display at the Flemington NJ station, the railroad was running tests on BR&W 2-8-0 #60, which has been painted in her orginal Great Western paint scheme for an upcoming Lerro Productions photo charter. We'll watch as the display train leaves Ringoes, and then watch as #60 makes her first test run to from Ringoes to Flemington and return. After that, her crew made one more test run to Flemington, where they then hooked onto the display train and brought it back to Ringoes. Enjoy, and Happy National Train Day!

Normaly im not a short video fan but this was awesome!!!!!! You should do a documentary on the history of this train and do info with old pics and narrate it. I see in your info this train was a 280. Do you know who built it? Baldwin locamotive works? I can just picture old bluegrass train songs or johnny cashs version of orange blossom special with this. Hd is the best way to watch steam train videos. All the train cars look just as old. The disel had a horible paint job but looked cool. A+:)

I think 60 looks better with a white smokebox instead of gray in my opinion
