Vinyl wrap has an issue in high heat environments. It will only last about 3 years and will be almost impossible to remove because the heat activated glue will become stuck permanently to the paint. I have a friend who owns a white 2009 CVPI and he had wrapped the roof. It took us three hours to remove the wrap (in pieces). Personally I would consider Plasti Dip as it peels right off and can be applied over any painted or non-painted surface without extended prep (no sanding, just wash and thoroughly dry the surface to be "painted."
we shall see. Thankfully just the b pillar trim so it won't be a big job to remove and paint if I end up needing to do so. But so far it's held up fine.
