When the new iBooks came out, around the time I released the book they changed it to only be available on the iPad. iBooks used to be available on iTunes which can be installed on Mac or PC's. But slowly they seem to be releasing it to more devices. It went from the iPad, to the iPhone, and now it's on the Mac. Maybe someday they will open it up to everyone.
Great video. I bought your book and didn't know there were multiple photos in each photo box. Also, I didn't know they came out with iBooks for the mac. So that's 2 new things I learned today. I liked your book and the cost was very reasonable. Being a subscriber to your video's while you live in Panama, I thought the book added a lot to whole story. Its a shame that the iBooks platform was limited, but the whole multi-medianess of the book meant you could only do it on iBooks. do more.

Hey Half-Throttle, I bought your book and thought it was great. The photo and video functionality blew me away and I think was a great demonstration of what can be done with an ebook over and above just mimicking a normal book in e format. My only criticism would be that there was some repetition between video and written word. It was still a great story brought to life in a unique way. Keep it up. Looking forward to the next ones. I have seen the videos about your Baru adventure, however a book would be pretty cool on insights as to what kind of people you met, differences in cultures, anomalies in politics, food, there is alot of stuff you can write about. In fact the book may have links to your RUclips videos which then you can contact possible advertisement companies depending on the subjects you are referring to in your book.

Even if the particular story isn't fantastic, you have a "real", "down to earth", way about you. I always look forward to the next video. I would love to read the book, but I don't own any Apple stuff, so if you make it available on more platforms (amazon? google play?) I would definately check it out. You could reach more people out there with the book itself on more platforms.
I would love to buy the book you have out, and also any new books, but I don't own any apple products capable of displaying it(and don't really have any interest in those products - bloody expensive). While what you did with the book that you have out looks super cool - I don't think(imho) that a more traditional book type would be any less interesting(plus there is always youtube for video). If the books were available in epub, or mobi or pdf etc. I'd buy them - the price was certainly right.

my 2 cents would be to park the GS adven-crap and get yourself another KLR 650 preff a Marine Corps surplus bike that likely got wrenched on by me lol and make some real vids again! Im sure at least a few of us miss the rugged go anywhere take a shit load of abuse and still run vids, that the KLR did compared to the German engineered $100 a oil change bike.
I know this sounds like adding capitalist junk, but after all you are the one asking around (sound like focus group) whether your audience is convinced about buying your book. I own a kindle and would buy your books, hell after all, I think I've seen most of your videos despite the fact you didn't make it to Colombia.
