I’m an electrician and this is the radio that’s attached to my kit every day. Everyone that sees/hears it, loves it. It doesn’t feel very rugged but some electrical tape in the right places solves that issue.
Please can anyone help me ..... I LOVE this little guy BUT does anyone else's have a rattle on the ariel when it's extended also when I switch it in I have a sort of pre flicker of the led lights ....does anybody else have the same things please guys ????
Take a look at the Tecsun pl-320. It has USB-c, a stand, several filters, good battery life, lots of memory slots, a "favorite" button which is the only radio I know with this feature. No mp3, although, but most of the time, it's a gimmick (excepted in the v115).
Wow! The frequency indicator dial looks very similar to the speedometer of a 1960s Oldsmobile Toronado. Very cool. Even reminiscent of a altimeter on a aircraft.
A tiny fun-box with a BIG radio in it! With light show and a great sound - that is exactly one of those products everybody can keep in their car, toolbox, rucksack etc. Just to be on the safe side to always have a "handful" of news ready! Love it!

Picked this little radio up for $26 from Amazon on their October super sale. Amazing little radio for the money. Thanks for the review. The amount of features and navigating all the buttons was way more than I initially expected!
These little radios are great. Bought one on the strength of this excellent review. I live on a tall ridge in rural Indiana, & sitting out in the open with the wire antenna attached to this little devil I have been having a blast the past couple of days. For the price I don't mind the lack of SSB or Air. Only ball they dropped is the lack of a headphone jack. Rock on, bud.
Hej Todderbert thanks for the review the Raddy RF750 is a very cool radio and i have also seen similar radios in your videos and elsewhere so I'm definitely thinking about buying a radio like this take care and have a great friday.
I bought two of these awesome little radios and they work perfect and sound great! Amazing how they pack so much in this little radio! Do wish it had a headphone jack! Very satisfied with this awesome little radio and how it performs! 👍😎📻

These radios are fantastic. I picked up the HanRongDa HRD-701 as I mentioned in a previous post. The analog version looks better but I like the digital display for easier tuning and presets. I have been picking up Zoomer and WCBS very clear at night from Cincinnati. I’m looking forward to your review of the 701. Thanks :).
Hej thanks for the info yes I think these radios are very cool and if they can perform well then that is a bonus so I will probably pick up a radio like this take care and have a nice friday.
Hi there Totterbert Superbert Totterbuds. Thanks for sharing. Went to your link and got one of those for 34.69 with 10% off . And another discount of 10.18 off with Amazon store card . Grand total of 24.51. Not a bad deal I would say. I like the long wire antenna with the wire release spring. Very cool. Thanks again. As always take good care. 😊
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I've been looking for awhile for your in depth review of this little radio. I saw mixed reviews of it and the digital display one, and i thought is it going to be good for SW reception. And when i saw it against "iron man" i said to myself thats the drop that tips the cup. Small, compact and capable, everything that i need. And it looks so cool 😎. Great review as always. Looking forward to review of digital display one. Cheers 👍
That looks like 👍 a RADICAL radio 📻!! I cannot tell if it has a drum 🪘 style dial that moves 🆙 and down, or if it’s a regular dial with a dial pointer. Your friend, Jeff.
I got your reviews for a long time. Then I no longer got them? I figured out the word Todderbert and I am back. How do I stay connected. I am a collector of radios and I enjoy your reviews
Great review as usual, todderbert! I notice that under 5.4 Shortwave mode on Page 7, there are references to "Hydrotherapy" bands. Does this mean the RF750 is submersible and can help soothe tired muscles? 😃
Hi there Todd thanks for all the GREAT videos do you think it’s ok to leave this unit charging over night? Not sure if it had overcharge protection thanks!!!!!!!
I bought this radio, last August and the only two things not good are the short battery life and the MW band scale colours. When illumination is on, is very difficult to see the numbers, otherwise it is a clever design and the easiest to carry around.
Just curious: what do you do with all that memory? I put thousands of songs on a 16gb or 32gb card, and have plenty of room to spare. You must have a massive music library!
Please can anyone help me ..... I LOVE this little guy BUT does anyone else's have a rattle on the ariel when it's extended also when I switch it in I have a sort of pre flicker of the led lights ....does anybody else have the same things please guys ????
you dont even need to extend the antenna out to get weatherband near chicago? i think i know what im going for... also helps that it's USB-C so i can charge my radio with my steam deck if the power ever went out.
@@todderbert hey todderbert, i need some technical advice. I have a eton frx3+ that runs on a single 18650 cell. I was wondering if combining 2 18650 cells for longer radio use. Would that fry any of the electrical components in the radio?

I just wish this thing would have the ability to use normal batteries... like 2-3 AA batteries. It's a cool design but sadly deliberately broken by the LiPo battery as the ONLY way to power it... To be honest this is the kind of radio i wish would come with a sturdy handcrank dynamo. Especially with all that military functional design.
I’m commenting before watching but I love it it’s cool looking and has a good signal for the size and price but my tuner is way off so that’s disappointing
I must caution people about buying any variant of this radio. In my own personal experience, the very day after receiving a variant of this radio, the mode switch on the unit snapped off with minimal pressure. This defect rendered the radio practically useless, as I can no longer switch between its various modes - a fundamental feature for any multi-functional device. I expected a product designed for emergencies and outdoor activities to be far more durable and resilient.
How primitive are the MP3 players on these? I'm a sheltered iPod basement child Meaning - I'm guessing when you "skip" forward or backwards it's in between mp3 files that must be albums in full, rather than being able to go from album to album and skip between songs within it? Or better asked - I likely have download individual songs of entire albums and skip through to listen to the next album? Brain hurts. Rocking back and forth.

Of all of my radios this one has become my go to, if only it had a headphone jack. Makes a great camping radio
Trying to find a nice travel/camping radio that does weather, shortwave and can play mp3 files like my Art Bell files. This might be up my alley.

Supporting a 256GB micro-sd card is the most significant upgrade over older devices that maxed out at 16 or 32GB.
