All your banking apps etc will Not transfer their data. I was at an Apple store yesterday and many apps including Banking Messaging etc will Not transfer all the data, You have to re do them as from new.

I would say to everyone just make sure you know your Apple ID password or reset it before you get your new iPhone. Many of us forget it since we auto sign in with Face ID and Touch ID

Does the transfer preserve apps organized into collections, folders, groups (whatever they are called) or just send over the apps and leave hours of work to organize them?
That is what I was wondering. If it transfers the apps and places them on the exact same page and coordinate of your home screen, or if you have to look at your old phone and manually drag the app into the correct location. I was also wondering if it transfers in-app settings or if you have to manually configure each app again.
@@TexasIronLegend Yes everthing is preserved in places, including folders, that you have already. A few years ago that was not the case, so this is a very nice change.
@@arthurmilholland9502 I see. Sounds good. I wish Google would also preserve your app locations when switching to a new Pixel. Even when you copy data directly via USB-C, it doesn't transfer the apps into their proper location. I really hope they add that feature in the future, like Apple.
I think I'm going to wait for the iPhone 17 or 18 to upgrade from my 12 pro, I'm pretty happy with it. I'd much prefer to wait a bit longer and have a massive improvement than to spend much more upgrading every year and only getting marginal changes. I'm not sure I like bigger phones but the premise of an ultra model with a higher optical zoom is enticing. I'm looking to get a magsafe charger stand for my phone this or next year to work on a charging rack for all my stuff.

Wasn’t easy Peary …I think because I only have the free 5gb of iCloud. When I tried to do the phone to phone the option to choose how I wanted the transfer didn’t pop up. Only a partial transfer happened. Sooo I’m gonna try to turn off the ICloud back up then do it again. Also, I heard that Target gives free ICloud for 3 months so I can try to get that. Hmmmm let’s see. But other than that thanks for the video :)
Bro you literally say this is how you do it when you don't have your old phone or you traded your old phone in then you commenced to backing your phone up by using a code sent to your old phone well how's that gonna work if I don't have my old phone anymore!!
