However, I have to admit, especially early, this feels SUPER weak compared to other classes, I'm hoping it steps up later game. A note as well, if you use a mod that increases your spell slots, it likely won't work with this mod.
When mods came out on console I already had 1000+ hours played. With all the mods already out and even more coming there's gonna be years of replayability to this masterpiece. Just started a dark urge blood reaver, can't wait.
This is the rough draft I have been using. Obviously this can be more refined but 2 runs and so far its okay. Course, if you have suggestions LMK. Of course I am running the Uncapped Lvl to LVL 20 since I wanted more power and feats, and Double XP. So Unmodded will have to sacrifice some lvls. I also have Origins Feats and Feats LVL 2,4,6,8 etc. Just to have more fun in higher levels since Balanced is kinda boring when you're a god. 4 levels to Warlock for 2 Feats, ASI, and Persuasive Feats. With Pact Blade and 2 Boons from my Dark God, like the Persuasion and Deception buff and Shadow Armor. Leaving me 16 Lvls for getting Reaver to snuff. I can be human still for obvious reasons. I have all the powers from Clothing buffs and STR potions to get to almost +8 armor class due to Reavers unarmored being more STR focused. With 3 feats from the normal Blood Mage to get more ASI for my Chr, Con and maybe the healthy Feat to dlu le my HP. As well as plenty of buffs from Vampire. AND Since I am Human I can use the Racial buff to get more out of the talking features to make sure that since I always have advantage indoors or in shadow, I can make the absolute best of rolls
With all that Con, Chr, and Dex. I have really high AC and chances to hit since its Con focused. And with all those talkie points my party can be just all kills and all fun.
Oh nice i was looking to make a Blood reaver subclass with a Scythe mod . So great timing on the vid 👍 The scythe is versatile so the advantage on attacks from blood reaver blood boil is gonna combo like honey with Great weapon master
Oh nice I can get back to this now. I uninstalled it in the past because I couldn't set the +1 and +2 for the stats so I couldn't start as it. I have more modded classes than vanilla ones now 😂
@@JasonDunna I do hope they add progression to level 20. I have been loving additional feats and skills even if it makes me more powerful than the rest of the game haha

Maybe I missed it from your videos, but do you have any recommendation for mods that add enemies/strenghtens the environment? Would be nice to have these to leverage these awesome additional classes
Hey thank you so much! There’s a couple now, tactician increased health by 100% or 250%. The creator of the mod that increases party size is working on a tactician enhanced mod that will be adding more difficulty as well!
I really want Cambion sub-race and succubus class for an interesting persuasive build to bring into dark urge. I know there are some of those on Nexus but I'd rather stick to mod manager and those don't seem up to date and they also have quite a lot of bug reports.
@@JasonDunna still trying to decide what class to go with when i play, but it'll be rather moot if the mods won't even work with my censored Japanese ps5 version.

@@JasonDunna i got my copy off ebay, thankfully installs in english if your ps5 language is set to that. The thing is, my friend whom has it digitally on ps5 and their version isn't censored; and we can't play together because of the difference in between them. Which is why i'm worried that my version can't have mods, because of said differences. I'm sure they wouldn't just excluded the console players in japan like that from being able to have mods, but i can't be sure since no one has said anything (that i can find) all official like one way or the other regarding it.

What would be the best armor an weapons if you did duel weapons? I know your using a shield but now im curious as how to best fit my fighting style or if i would have to change some things. My build is semi close to this so now im curious since that seems to be the main difference
did u take a look at the artillerist artificer yet? i wanna try this one out but since its only supported till level 12 and im going to do a level 20 run im not realy sure what to multiclass into im thinking wizard and maybe fighter for con saves maybe u can make a build guide for that subclass aswell?
@@JasonDunna awesome i tought of maybe instead of fighter just go the first 4 level into draconoc sorc after the respec ofcourse then 12 artificer and 4 wizard so i have full spellslotprogression con saves and scribe spells too
Idk about anyone else but I'm on ps5 and when trying too play blood mage I couldn't take the class unless I multiclassed into it I can't start as a blood mage from level 1 hope this helps
Does the Blood Mage have any dialogue options? I imagine it utilizes a base class for its dialogue (like how Mystic uses Monk), so I’m curious what Blood Mage uses.

It’s really cool! The nice thing is that it’s not overpowered. It’s not as strong as like sword bard so it feels like it fits right in!

This class is much weaker than the other base game classes from my experience!

I plan on doing muiltclassing with blood mage and pure blood mage. The frist muiltclass build is Blood Wizard.
It would go well with the wizard since the blood mage doesn’t get many spells!

I can definitely! Yeah if you go level 20 I’d start fighter for armor and con saves, 12 levels artificer and then end off with wizard for spells!

Not sure I like the aesthetic of the icons, something more artistically in line with vanilla BG3 would go a long way to not break immersion.
