In the beginning of the song, I thought it was alright. Good Cadance voice, good instrumentals, just overall good and decent. But I flipped out when the Chrysalis voice was singing in a similar tune to "This Day Aria"! That really caught my attention. Then the drop and all of the further vocals just sweetened the deal for me. This was an excellent listen and it went straight to my music folder.
Ooh, two of my favourite artists working together. It's great. Some of the lyrics are a bit hard to hear, but it's a minor detail. Nice to still have people making Chysalis songs after so long. Especially with such talented people!

PegasYs' vocal parts were strange but fit the song amazingly when you treat them as the representation of changelings going along with Mica's voice as Chrysalisis. The lyrics and how they were sung and even in the instrumental I felt the emotion of this. I don't know how much of this was intentional or you just thinking it sounded cool, but you made a drumstep song with actual feeling to it.
A lot of what we do is based off of how we feel or how we want to make the listener feel. We take a lot of time into how we want the vocals to interact in a song, how to make it feel cohesive as a full story. This comment means a lot to us as producers, seeing that we have actually successfully made that impact. That's what we ultimately hope to accomplish at the end of the day.
